Chapter 4

Chapter 4: The Project

Location: Sala Restaurant, Makati, Metro Manila

---

Date: Friday, March 29, 2013

Two days passed and I'm surely going to be busy because I made a plan to enroll myself in an art class. Everyone's seems busy around me and I'm feeling so out of place and.. bored.

Arc is busy with his business, and meetings, and other stuffs as always. While Lock is too busy with his vacation in Siargao with his friends. He said that he needs a break from learning after their course announced them a one month summer break. Plus the last week we spent in Palawan. Even though last week was just their one week special break. And now, thank God that He gave him a month to rest and to enjoy life and not to drown himself in words and numbers in his books.

The twins also have their own things to entertain them, and I'm the only who's putting too much effort to be productive by sliding in in Dec's busy world. And I know I'm being a distraction for him that's why I will enroll in an art class to do something that will keep me alive.

And tomorrow is the start. My mom gave me this idea because she said she's seeing how much bored I am.

"Time flies so fast." I mumbled to Dec.

He just finish his work. And it's just 4:30 p.m., he was earlier than the usual.

I didn't came with him today in the company because I was too lazy to wait for him to finish. I just spent my time in the mall, choosing a wonderful gift for him for his birthday next week. The reason why I also decided not go with him.

He glanced at me and raised a brow. "Not ready for school?" He asked. He then wiped his mouth with a napkin.

I chuckled a bit. Our class will start next, next month and that's not what I'm saying.. it's too far to be an issue for me.

I swallowed a spoonful of food before answering him, "Not because of that," he raised a brow. "But because you're getting older."

He smirked and shook his head. He took a sipped of his drink.

"But.. do I look old?" He asked after a while. He was smiling a bit.

I jokingly examined his face and made a bad expression. Actually, he looks matured than his age. He's just turning 23 next month but his face ranges 26-30 years old face of a man already.

I grinned, "Actually, you don't look old... But you look a bit too mature. Add the fact that you haven't shaved off your stubbles." He just chuckled and continued eating. I laughed, "But don't be insecure because it made you more handsome." I wiggled my brows at him.

"I'm not insecure. Because who would be insecure if I have you?" He winked at me and chuckled.

I chuckled and threw his face a napkin, "Silly." I mumbled and sipped through my drink.

"No. You are silly. Not me," he said. For a moment he stopped chuckling, I felt him looking at me while my eyes is on my food. I glanced at him. He just smiled. "How's your day?" He asked.

"It was fine. 'Cos I missed my bed... And also it's a good thing you finished earlier than the usual when I'm with you. I was right that I'm feeling like I'm distracting you. Although, it was too late because tomorrow is your rest day and you won't work next week."

"It's okay. I'm enjoying work with you in my office. However... You're so naughty."

"Duh, who wouldn't be? When you're just doing nothing at all and just waiting for the successor of the company's precious attention." I chuckled. I'm done with my food now. I looked at his plate and saw that it was empty too.

"Well, it was your choice." He replied.

I snickered and stood up. I pinched his nose as I hug him. "I know. And don't you worry. I will not go with you anymore, because.." I saw him furrowed his brows a bit when I halted. I haven't told him yet about the art class. "I will go into an art class so I would have a thing to do in this summer that will divert my attention from being so unproductive."

I loosened my hug on him and looked at his face. He was caressing my back.

"So what do you say about it?" I asked and pouted my lips.

He pinched my cheeks and smiled, "Anything that would make you happy."

I kissed his cheeks, "You can go with me if you want. And you could enroll too. No, you should enroll!" I excitingly said.

He smiled and pinched my nose, "I can.. but I wouldn't enjoy it.. sorry"

I understand him. "Hmm. it's fine. Don't worry. Besides, you should just study about the company."

"Yeah, that's what I'm planning."

I told him that I will just go in the restroom. And he stood up too, saying that he will also wash his hands and pee.

I looked at my face in the mirror. My cheeks were pink. And there's a slight food stain beside my lips. I washed my face and wiped it with the tissue that I always bring in my bag. I started grooming my face.

I noticed that my hair is too long. I really should have a trim. I don't want it short. I just want it to be trimmed to be reduced a bit.

But maybe I should do it on Wednesday. Before Dec's birthday so he would notice it.

After eating, we went home. He even asked me to go in the mall but I refused to, because I will be processing the papers that'll be needed in the art class.

Besides that, I asked my girlfriends to have a sleepover in our house. Because we will do a surprise thingy for Dec. It was their suggestion because I asked them what's the best gift I can give for him and they told me that I should surprise him. Although, because of this thing, I will be missing out the four days of my art class. And that's fine because I know it's gonna be worth it!

And I'm so excited!

I was busy preparing the things that we will be needing for making my surprise for him, when I heard our doorbell rang.

I hastily went out of my room. I was about to run in the stairs when my mom called me, "Casselle, who's your visitor, sweety?"

"My friends, Mom. I invited them to have a sleepover here." I wiggled my brows.

Her eyes widened a bit and her brows furrowed. And my forehead creased with her reaction, I was about to ask why when she spoke, "Why didn't you tell me? I should have prepared some cupcake or any snack for them." She frowned.

I chuckled, "Mom, don't worry they will be here until tomorrow night or maybe until Sunday. You have all the time." She's just too thoughtful and over-acting sometimes.

I noticed her face lightened up and she went beside me, "Good to here."

As usual, my mom being my mom, welcomed my friends too.

When we opened the door, I immediately welcomed them with my hugs.

"I miss being here!" Vien exclaimed and walked towards my mom to hug her too.

"Hi, Aunt!" Chelle went to her too and hugged her.

"I miss your room's perfume." Vien commented when we reached our room. She placed her bag on the floor and heavily flopped her body on my mattress like she haven't experienced a comfortable bed for a year.

"That's her signature." Chelle replied.

"So what's the first step?" I glanced at them and I saw them lying on my bed comfortably, eyes closed.

I chuckled. Silly girls.

I didn't mind them and went out of the room.

I heard them called me. "Cass!" They shouted, laughing. I shook my head and laugh. I heard their steps and the next thing I know they are beside me.

Well, I would just make a snack before starting our special project.

I made a sandwich for them while we're talking and catching up about some stuffs.

"Do you, guys, think he will like and agree to it?" I asked after placing the food in front of them.

"Thank you, sissy." Chelle mumbled.

"He likes everything that comes from you. And when I said everything it means that he will agree to those everything for you." Vien said. I chuckled.

"Love it." I replied. They both laugh.

We halted from talking when Casslie shouted their names and hugged them.
