ARTEA’S POV
“GREG! Hurry up!” I shouted at my little brother, you might be wondering why we are in a hurry well today we are moving so, goodbye Dallas. Mom thinks this is a good change since-
“Alright! Tea(teya) why are you so slow come on!” Says my little brother with a jump in his steps, no doubt that box was heavy for a boy like him.
I went up in my room, my bed was still there, my vanity, and other stuff. We didn’t really packed a lot of furniture because Mom wants a new interior for our house in Phoenix. All the memories with Dad just came back to me, the way he would tell us stories of the impossible he was a great writer, he wrote and sold books internationally, he was like a light when things were looking dark.
Now he’s gone, an accident the police couldn’t even solve my only regret is that I never got to say goodbye properly, you know what they say… Regret always comes last.
“Sweetie, let’s go, we don’t wanna be late for our flight” my mom said
“I know Mom, it’s just… I miss him” I said to her looking at the floor
“We all do but this is what he would want for us to be happy again” she lifted my chin up and gave me an encouraging smile which I returned almost forced…
We got into the car and drove off to the airport, our flight is 30 minutes away and we sat down to wait. Thank god I have a good amount of patience.
Greg was playing on his phone. Mom was taking a call from work she’s a real estate agent that’s why we ALWAYS choose a good house, and I’m here reading my Dad’s old books. He was an old soul with an open mind.
“I’m going to the bathroom Greg, don’t forget to tell Mom” I said to Greg and went to the bathroom.
SHIT
Where was the bathroom? Me being a shy bitch of course I wondered clueless for 10 minutes and thank heavens I finally found a bathroom.
THIRD PERSON POV
After Artea finished using the bathroom she went lost of course she don’t have a sense of direction when it comes to new places not to mention she is forgetful.
“Greg, where is your sister?” Margott asked her youngest. “She went to the bathroom” Greg replied without taking his eyes of his phone
“Our flight is 15 minutes away…” Margott grumbled clearly frustrated that her oldest is not back yet.
After a while Artea returned with a confused, slightly shocked face and apologized to her mother for taking too long in the bathroom which took so longer because she was clearly lost.
~Arriving in Phoenix Arizona~
The Lenner Family safely arrived in Phoenix and drove to their new home in Paradise Valley. The house is very modern with 4 bedrooms each has its own bathrooms, a garage, a medium sized living room, medium sized kitchen and dining room, a basement with a bathroom, and a backyard with a pool.
“So what do you guys think?” Margott asked her children after pulling up the drive way. “Wow Mom what an upgrade” Greg replied awestruck by the place. “Yep, I’m speechless” the oldest replied while still looking at the house in front of them.
“Well… Get out and pick your bedrooms!” Margott shouted at her children playfully.
Both children were pushing each other while entering their new home, racing up to the bedrooms and choosing their own.
“This is gonna be a new peaceful start indeed” Artea breathed out while entering her chosen bedroom.
ARTEA’S POV
“How is everything here furnished Mom?” I asked Mom while exploring the kitchen. “Hired someone to furnish it for us… We wouldn’t want to be tired after a long flight” Mom replied, not surprised if you got money you can do just about anything.
Mom suggested that we go to IKEA or Home Depot for decorations for our rooms. Me and Greg took my Mom’s car because I don’t have a car YET but I will.
We arrived at IKEA and Greg went to roam the isles for pillows and decorations while I went to the lights isle. Being the clumsy bitch that I am I bumped into someone how unfortunate…
“Oh my god, I’m sorry” I apologized immediately and met with a gray-eyed guy. He helped me up and said “No it’s ok, not everyday I bumped into a pretty girl”
FLIRT
“Yeah… you’re not getting anywhere with that sorry…” I playfully mock him “Well I have to go and pick up some stuff not to mention my brother so, see you around Terrence!” After that I walked away and saw my brother 3 isles away watching us with a confused face.
“How did you know?” He asked me. “Know what?”
“His name, he didn’t tell you his name” he answered, I furrowed my brows but brushed it off “Just a feeling I guess”
We went home, mom is busy as always. I went in my room and started to decorate I put up the led light bulb that changes colors, some hexagon mirrors for the wall, put some books on the shelf, changed my cover pillows into fur and silk, and moved some stuff around.
“Hey A, your room is looking good you should take a look at the bathroom… it is a home spa” Mom came into my room. “Done for work?” I asked making my way to the walk-in closet.
“Holy hell Mom you really out done yourself choosing this house” I laughed. “Well we deserve the best right?” She said and winked at me. “Go to bed, it’s already 9:30 you still have some things to decorate and the bathroom of course, and school is in a week” she informed me,
School… I forgot about that…
Kissing my forehead and snapping me out of my trance mom left and went into Greg’s room just down the hall. Opened my luggage and took some pjs out and went into the bathroom, mom wasn’t lying that this looked like a spa.
The shower and bathtub were at the opposite side of the door, there was a sink, bathroom vanity, and mirror, the toilet was beside the vanity. The walls of the shower were marbled gray, the walls of the drying area was plain gray and floor was non-slip light gray.
“Huh… I could get used to this” I mumbled to myself
After taking a warm bath I dried my body and wore my pjs. Went and collapsed on the bed and let the darkness consume me.

“If you are tired rest but don’t give up”
