He flipped through the pages of the file but what he needed wasn’t there. With a frustrated sigh, he tossed that one to the side as well. He was about to go out of his office to take a walk and cool his head when his secretary appeared before him.
“I’m extremely sorry, sir,” she babbled, flustered. “I thought I had stacked the right one with the other files, I was sure of it but somehow it got left on my desk. But I came here as soon as I found it and I also double-checked this time that—”
“Calm down.” He told her and took the file from her hands. At last, he had what he was searching for. He opened the file and there she was, so very familiar and yet not at all. He flipped to the other page and traced a finger on the name written under the photo of a young man. He smiled. This time, the game was going to be more interesting than ever before.
Shooting two birds with one stone was his favorite phrase now. Money and revenge were what he was after and he was going to get both. How dare they stand between his goals? Did they think he would let all that slide so easily?
He closed the file and stood up. “Arrange a meeting with the others as soon as possible. We are going to start another round.” He ordered and walked out.
Things were going to get interesting.
