Day off - Lahri

***

PoV - Lahri

I can't believe it! He can't even rest for one night! Lyunil sneaked out at night and came back even more hurt! And the worst thing is, he doesn't even want to tell the truth about what happened!!!!

It's not possible that all those wounds were just an "accident"! Those wounds are as deep as if he had been pierced by something, but he insists that it was "just an accident"!! My will now is to punch something, but I have to control my anger.

And I don't even know why I'm so angry about it, I don't care what Lyunil decides to do, after all I decided to join his group just to achieve my goals, I just can't just ignore it!... Stupid Lyunil ! Humph! (⇀‸↼‶)

Kaule asked me to go get more items that could help with tomorrow's challenge and to redeem the guild pass I in the Guild Master with the points we got from the challenge.

I took the opportunity to buy more bandages and cheap potions, in case someone decides to get hurt and not tell others what happened!!!!

- Ah… /Sigh/

Lyunil idiot!

- Is everything okay, miss?! You look angry… Did something happen to the Master Guild door? (Argie)

OH! I got distracted and forgot about the world around me!!

- Ha ha.. Nothing happened, I was just "^^)>… Oh?! Royal Knights Guild Leader? I apologize for getting in your way!! You can pass in front of me!

I took a step to the side and bowed apologetically, I hope he doesn't get mad at me!

- No need to act like that... (Argie)

He opened the door and motioned for me to go in first.

- ...ladies First! (Argie)

- Oh… T-thank you!

After I entered, Argie and her guards entered next and as usual made the announcement that Argie Endragon was in the room. They really flatter their leader, but for good reason, he was so polite to someone like me.

- If memory serves, you are part of Lyunil's new guild, right? (Argie)

- W-who? And I?

And nodded. Is he still wanting to talk to me?

- Yes, Lyunil let me join his guild!

-Interesting, may I know his name?

- Lahri!

- It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Lahri! You may already know this, but I am Argie Endragon.

- It's a pleasure to meet you too!

- Did you come to see the results and redeem the rewards too? I believe this opening challenge was very fruitful.

We were walking towards the counter as we talked.

- Yes… but that expectation is too optimistic and kind of you, Mr Endragon. Unlike your guild that performed the best, my guild barely got enough points to get the cheapest pass.

- Don't belittle your performance either, I heard that you went through unexpected difficulties during the event. I'm sure they would have gotten a pretty high position!

- It's very kind of you!

- And how's Lyunil?

- Hunf… I had to force him to rest, because he can't be aware of the state he's in!

- Ha ha ha, you worry a lot about him, right? Do you get along well with each other?

- Which? II?! It's not that! (0////0)

- But at least I'm happy to know that he's recovering.

- Good morning, Mr Endragon! I imagine you're here because of the system message! And what a pleasant surprise to see Miss Lahri together! (Anne)

- Good morning, Miss Anne! Exactly, I'm here to analyze yesterday's challenge. Miss Lahri was just accompanying me at the moment, I imagine she has other matters to take care of now. (Argie)

- Actually, I don't have anything important to do at the moment and I would also like to see how the other players performed in the challenge! (Lahri)

I'm going to take this opportunity to get more information about who we're up against in the future, especially Argie! I will try to get as much information as he has!

- It seems that both want to prepare as best they can before the competition starts definitely! The best moments of the match are being broadcast in the lounge next to the bar, there is also a player search panel and the ranking table of the best players in the challenge. And as expected from Lord Endragon, he reached first place, my congratulations! (Anne)

- Thank you for your kindness, Miss Anne. We'll go there immediately, with your permission! (Argie)

- Excuse me!

And we went to the salon indicated by Anne.

The place was very quiet and there weren't many people, it seems that most people don't want to know how the match went, maybe because most of them lost or left the challenge in a short time, or…

- It seems there were 31 deaths... and I can already imagine who caused most of them. (Argie)

- Who?

- He was nicknamed Death Sigh, many players believe he is a legend and others believe he is a monster of the system, but I managed to prove that he exists and that he is a player and that he was one of the first players to arrive in this Kingdom . (Argie)

- He looks pretty dangerous! Have you managed to find him yet?

- He always wears a mask and hides from other players on purpose, but there was a day when fate allowed me the chance to see him for a few seconds. He killed 15 members of my guild so fast that in a sigh the 15 lost their lives, so he got this nickname, and before he left I tried to hit him with my power, but he dodged and I could see he has a skylet. (Argie)

- That's why you said he's also a player… but why did he do that? What does he get by killing all these people?

- There are people who don't need reasons, they just let their bloodlust guide their actions. And that is why I want to put an end to this as soon as possible, so that I can avenge my companions and free the murderer of his own curse. (Argie)

That's really terrible... but it's true that the Tower doesn't make a distinction in any respect. It can be old or child, it can be strong or weak, it can be an idolized hero or a cruel murderer, if the Tower recognizes the player as worthy of participating in it there is nothing that can be done.

Then we were analyzing the other players, we saw some interesting scenes that happened and then Argie was looking for information in the search panel while I was looking at the leaderboards.

- You are really amazing, Mr Endragon! You came first in both rankings, solo ranking and guild ranking!

- I appreciate your compliment, but I can't neglect it a bit, as she also almost reached me in both classifications. (Argie)

- Is it over there?

I looked again at the table and could notice this very crucial detail! The second person is Miss Naya Solstier, the leader of the White Roses guild. In the guild rankings she lost to the Royal Knights by five points, but in the solo rankings she lost to Argie by just one point! A gold and red collar is what helped Argie reach first place in the rankings, but it's still amazing how intense the dispute between these two guilds is.

- ~And speaking of her~… it's a pleasure to meet you here, Miss Solstier and companions! (Argie)

It was then that I noticed, Miss Naya really is here! She came with three more people: two guards and if I'm not mistaken it's Helrta, Naya's right-hand man and she's also deputy leader of the guild! I can't believe I'm in the presence of these great figures at a time like this!

She just nodded at Argie, it seems the rumors I've heard about her are true. I have heard that she is quite reserved and rarely speaks, let alone talks to anyone, including the people who live with her. She seems to be quite introverted and her cold expression on her face demonstrates her seriousness, furthermore, her actions and results are demonstrations of her great strength. She really only loses to Argie and no one else!

- This is Lahri, and she's keeping me company today! (Argie)

- It-is-it's a p-pleasure to m-meet you!

I made a small bow in respect.

And she just answered me with a nod without saying anything else.

I can't believe I'm in the middle of these two great figures!

- Looks like you don't waste time, Mr. Endragon! When it comes to the details, there is none that escapes you. (Helrta)

- I imagine you are also in the same boat, strategist Helrta. Her presence here says a lot about her actions. (Argie)

Miss Helrta can be seen as the total opposite of Miss Naya. Helrta is tall, with dark skin, short light hair, with a very strong personality. Naya is short, with very fair skin, long dark hair, with a very reclusive personality. And even with all this difference they seem to get along so well! Perhaps this difference makes them such a strong duo.

If the Royal Knights had the same number of people as the White Roses, they would definitely come first, but Argie's charisma has become a powerful weapon against them and most people want to join Argie's guild.

- Ha ha… that behavior of yours has never changed! Stay tuned, because we want you to see well the moment we surpass you. Have a nice day, Golden Knight! (Helrta)

- A good day to you too, ladies! (Argie)

Argie was walking towards the exit and I decided to follow him. So I passed both of them, Helrta kept looking straight ahead not looking in any other direction, but Naya seemed to be looking at me curiously... but I think I know why, it seems she felt the same way as I did... for some reason, I feel like I know she from somewhere, sometime, but I don't remember talking to her before… I must be imagining things!

After we left the hall, we went to the points exchange location and bought the passes that each one could buy. As expected, Argie managed to buy the most expensive pass (guild pass IV) and still used the rest of the points to buy more resources, while I had to spend my own money to get the fewest items we needed… "-_-)

- I think we'll say goodbye here for today, Miss Lahri! It was great to have your company during this day! (Argie)

- I thank you for allowing me to have this honor of being with you, Mr. Endragon! Thank you!

He smiled and waved his hand in a farewell gesture, then walked out the main door of the master guild.

Although I got a lot of information and listened to some analysis by Argie himself, I didn't get crucial information to help us change the situation we are in.

The big guilds are at the top precisely because they are strong, there is no secret when it comes to merit, if we want to surpass them our guild must become stronger than all the others! But how?... This time I was with Argie I could also see that he is not just a pretty face with polite words, his fighting power and leadership are impressive gifts and for him they are as natural as breathing.

We have a lot of obstacles to overcome yet, I still can't control my powers well and there are things I still don't understand. Although I have awakened two divisions in my class, I still don't have control of any and I'm depending on my basic skills.

I also don't want to be depending on Lyunil and the others to help me out like I'm dead weight, let alone get hurt because of me.

The only option left for me is to train to become stronger and be able to control my powers. And I'm going to show Lyunil that he can really count on me, that he doesn't have to take all the responsibility alone!

I still need to reach the upper floors so I can look for Lyuki, as he got in before me he shouldn't be around, but if I take too long to reach him it might be too late when I find him again.
