Sparring Pt.1

In a castle like palace inside one of the rooms sat a three people. One was a man who looked wealthy. He has pale lavender hair, red eyes, and a set of pointed ears.

Next was a woman silver hair and a pair of wings on her back. She looked like a harpy from Greek mythology with some red dot on her head.

Next was a man with Short spiky blonde hair. He has a large build being very tall, with black sharp nails and a beast paw print tattoo on his right chest. He wears loose clothing and a 3-part pauldron on his right shoulder.

They say at a table and they seem to be starting a meeting.

"Things have changed. It seems Milim has taken quite the liking to both the slime and that other man." Clayman said.

"It seems that way. I have subordinates in route to their location already, but it seems like we'll have to withdraw." Carrian said.

"No need to withdraw, I don't think it's an alliance. I think they're just playing around." Frey commented. She wasn't really interested in all of this, but her territory was touching the Jura forest, so she had to know what was going on. Specially if a demon lord is involved and definitely if it's a catastrophe class like Milim.

"I say we wait for a while then call a meeting with her included. We should be sure what type of relationship she has with the forest of Jura." Clayman suggested.

"We should also see if we can exact some type of relationship with that other guy. There's no doubt he could have sealed with that whole army alone. What's more didn't you say when you were looking at them through the crystal he looked right at you?" Carrian asked Clayman.

"Yes, I believe it would best for us to hold off on him for a while. He seems like a mature version of Milim. He's bored and strong, so I say we wait." Clayman suggested.

Agreeing with him the meeting was ended.

(Akihito POV)

Right now me and Mia were in the linking space. I told Rimuru and Milim that I would be gone for a while. Milim wanted to know where I was going, but I didn't say. I just told them that I'm bringing my partner over and they dropped it.

Now I'm in the Linking Space telling Mia to come live with me.

"It's not that hard to understand. I would be able to help you and focus on my other friends if you just came to the world with me." I explained.

"I understand that. I'm just bewildered you have other friends." She said with her leg crossed.

"Are you serious?" I asked plainly.

"I mean you actually talking to people is just hard to imagine."

"I guess I'm talking to a thing now, huh? Anyways, would you be willing to live with me or not. My house is like some huge resort so we don't even have to be living close."

"Would there be a way for use to train without messing up that worlds power balance?" She asked.

"That worlds power balance was fucked up the moment I started liking Rimuru, so it'll be good honestly. But we have a secure place in my house to train. I can even go to half power in the living room without anything happening." I said.

"I see. Would I still be able to go to the pure dimension?" She asked.

"I made it in your domain, but I can set up a gateway for it in the basement. Like you open a door and walk through to get in."

"Then I don't mind." She said

I stood up and opened a portal into my house and we appeared in the living room.

"It really is like a house." She said.

"This is the main living room. There's a map on the wall. Remember it and you'll know how to navigate around this place." Said.

Looking to the right Mia saw a huge map plastered on the wall.

"Why do you have such a huge house when you don't even need all this space. You're one person." She said looking at the map. It was pretty huge.

"Sometimes I have my sister over. And my pets like to run around sometimes. I was also thinking of getting a subordinate." I explained to her.

"Your what and who. You got a sister and pets?!?"

Now that I'm listening to this I helped her on a whim and only call on her to set up matches or train.

"How about one of these days we sit down and have a normal conversation or something?" I suggested.

"Sure. I have a question though. What areas are off limits?"

"My vault." There are a lot of cursed things in there with a lot of money. You can not go in there at all. Until I think you have enough mental resistance or immunity." I said.

I was extremely serious about this. The amount of cursed things I found in this world is crazy. I use how much negative energy it gives off as a defense to anything that somehow tries to steal from me.

If you went in there with not enough mental resistance you would become a corrupt slave or retardant forever until I killed you.

"Noted. Well I'll start my journey around this new world you call a house." She said sarcastically. I nodded as she walked through a random door.

'Oh right, I forgot to tell her I'll be out.' Thinking that I wrote a note and left it on the table for her to see when she comes back.

I went back over to the city that had officially become a nation. Rimuru was on a little stroll, but he wasn't his usual happy self. He seemed more focused on something.

I floated down next to him making him jump slightly.

"What's wrong with you?" I asked.

"You can fly?"

"Yes, but that's off topic. What's wrong with you? You look so down."

"Well last night I was thinking about what you said. And I officially become the leader of a nation now, so I need to get way stronger." He said.

"Well let's have that spar and if you want I could tech you a few things. Won't be much for me to do really. Oh, but I'd like for you to meet my partner as well." I said.

"I decline. The last time I meant a friend's girlfriend I got brutally stabbed." He said.

"Then you got sent to this beautiful world. I'd risk getting stabbed again."

We sat there in silence looking at each other before a smile emerged on his face.

"Haha..ha. You're joking right?" He asked.

"Of course. Where do you feel like sparring?" I said changing the topic

"There's an open field some kilometers away from the city we could go there." He suggested. I nodded and he took out a pillow.

"Follow me." He said and flew off. I caught up in a few seconds though.

"So are you human or something else?" He asked.

"I'm Kryptonian."

"What's that?" He asked.

'So his universe doesn't have DC.' I thought.

"Basically I'm the last of my race there ever was on this planet. Kryptonians we're all wiped out 900 years ago. So I was like 11 at the time." I said.

'This is total complete bullshit. Honestly if he ever asked someone who's been around longer than nine hundred years they'd confirm this is bullshit.' I thought.

"It's just ahead." He said and zoomed off. I followed and we landed on the ground in an open field with no trees. Just green grass for miles and miles.

We were a good distance away from each other and we stood there waiting for something to decide when we start. Again I felt a disturbance in the force and Treyni appeared.

"Why are you here?" I asked.

"Originally I needed to ask you something, but it can wait till after the match." She said.

"Oh ok, but are you still gonna be watching or what?"

"No, I have other matters to watch and attend to."

"Alright, we can talk when the match is over." When she left I focused more on the fight.

"When this coin hits the ground we begin." I said and tossed up a gold coin.

In that moment I started raising my magical output to about 5%. That's enough to put me in catastrophe rank for monsters. When the coin hit the ground Rimuru was already using his aura to try and combat mine.

It didn't help much but it was helping. He took out his sword so I took out a fancy looking sword from my vault. It wasn't cursed, but it was sturdy. It also circulated magic.

I had to kill an aristocratic King that sexual abused his daughter AND his son. Of course he didn't just die, but that's for another time.

I also decided to shrink down to his size.

(Third POV)

With Akihito's overwhelming aura flaring out as much as he allows it, Rimuru is trying his best to combat it with his own. Although Akihito's aura is larger and of better quality, both of them were different, making people sense both magical energies.

Rimuru's magic power was in the Disaster rank meaning he can rival the demon lords. Which is why they attracted so much attention with their energies. The only known being in the catastrophe category was Milim, but the energy wasn't like her's which is really chaotic. Is was more chill, like a flowing stream.

Akihito and Rimuru looked at each other for a moment, before Rimuru shot forward. Swinging his sword at Akihito's neck. Leaning back he dodged the attack and more slashes sent his way.

Rimuru was going for another cut with his sword, but Akihito blocked it with the side of his sword and and kicked Rimuru in the stomach.

Rimuru has a pain nullification skill so he didn't feel the pain, but he's getting damage reports from great sage. This time Akihito shot forward and before Rimuru could notice both of his hands fell off.

His hands immediately transformed back into slime and gathered in his body while new hands grew again. He picked up his sword but put it in it's sheath this time.

""*Sigh* Using swords just isn't my thing." He said and looked at Akihito with a serious look.

Akihito didn't put his sword up though. After all this was a sparring match, not some honorable sport. Rimuru also looked like he wanted him to keep the sword out.

Rimuru quickly ran forward and swung his right hand down in Akihito's direction. Out of nowhere a bolt of black lightning shot down towards Akihito who put his sword above him to intercept the black lightning.

The moment the lightning came in contact with the sword Akihito swung it next to him, deflecting the bolt.

*KABOOOOOOOOM!!*

The sound of the strike rang out around the field as Akihito started running towards Rimuru.

This was a magic sword. It's skill was called Deflection. Basically it does what Akihito did with it. It deflected magic attacks, but of course it had a limit.

When the magi steel core breaks it becomes a normal sword again and the magic it just deflected damaged it greatly. That's why Akihito ran forward, to keep in close combat.

Meeting in the middle Rimuru had his fist covered in fire and he threw a straight punch at Akihito.

Blocking it with the side of his sword he swung the sword back flicking Rimuru with it. With him in the air Akihito took this chance and was about to slice him, but his sword was caught in between Rimuru's hands.

His feet slammed into the ground making Webbed cracks appear and he pulled the sword along with Akihito. Using the momentum Rimuru tried punching at Akihito again but he just tilted his head and let go of the sword.

Jumping back they looked at each other. Rimuru was using magic sense to track Akihito and his movements since it was the only way to keep up.

Sitting the sword in the ground softly he got into a boxing like stance.

"I've ben going over memories while in this fight and asked great sage to optimize a stance for me." He said with a smirk. The black fire around his fist also got more robust.

"I'll be going all out now." Rimuru added.
