Me and Mia went into the gods realm and there seemed to be more people than before. We haven't been here in a minute, so I guess people were surprised or whatever.
We paid it no mind and walked directly to the register for fights. I just wanted to see how far I've gotten now that I'm here.
"Sign me up with high deities and half step gods." I said to the woman behind the desk.
"Are you sure? All of these fights are to the death." She asked looking at me seriously.
"Yeah."
She nodded and looked at Mia.
"Same thing." She nodded again and with a papers being signed she told us the waiting period would be a week.
"Well let's go back." Mia suggested. I nodded and opened a portal for us to go through and we appeared outside in the forest.
"Instead of doing nothing let's just explore this world for a bit." I said.
"Not that I think of it there are hidden labyrinths and Dungeons in this world. Let's have fun finding them." I said with a slight smirk.
I always did wonder why these dungeons were never actively being looked for. I saw Mia's body get enveloped in a swirl of darkness and she came back out fully changed.

"Why?" I asked with my head tilted.
"I want to look the part. I don't want to go adventuring in a dress. You should change too."
"Why would I do that?"
"Because you need a knew look." She said plainly.
I thought about it for a moment and my body was covered in darkness. Once I came out my clothes were changed to what I envisioned them to be.

"Classy." Mia commented with a nod.
"I like dressing like this sometimes." I said while fixing my sleeves.
"Let's start with looking around Brumund, in the forest. They seem to be around one with all the military power they have and huge guilds." I said.
"How'd you know?"
"I've scanned this world a lot to know it's layout by heart now. I also lived there before moving to the forest for like three years. I think."
"I see. Are we taking Mufasu and the rest?"
"Nah, they just chilling with Shuna right now. They gonna be fine." I said hunching my shoulders.
With that we decided to walk towards Blumund at a leisurely pace. Along the way we had run-ins with monsters, but killed them with nothing but a strong flick of a finger.
Although we didn't have to it was nice to stop and camp out when night fell. Me and Mia also meditated regularly as usual. I was thinking about using universal meditation again, but I don't know if I'll evolve again or not.
Hell I don't even know why I evolved the last time. That's besides the point though. Blumund sat on the edge of the Jura Forest and they actually were moved into some of it.
"The place I'm talking about is in Ingracia, so let's just go to Blumund, register with their guild and get a card. All of what we do from there will be covered." I said as stomped on the head of some huge snake.
"The easier the better." Mia replied wiping some blood from her face. We continued on our walk for three days till we finally came to the Blumund Kingdom.
I paid up front with some gold and to come in and after finding the guild again we went in. Eyes were on us just like last time I came and it seems some people even remember how I looked. When I wasn't being an assassin, I was around B-rank since I didn't really do much.
"We'd like to register at the guild." I said to the woman behind the desk. She looked up at me with some astonishment and pure shock. She looked at Mia the same, but got her composure.
"Just fill out your name and what division you want to join. Then we can begin the exam." She said putting out two sheets of paper.
Me and Mia both decided to go with the subjugation division for obvious reason.
I looked over to Mia and saw that she seemed…stressed? I used telepathy to make a mental link with her and talk.
{What's wrong with you?}
{These people, they're so weird. I can feel how they're looking at us, plus the natural malice in their hearts. It's annoying honestly.}
{I got it.}
I let off barely 1% of my aura and the guild went quiet. I pulled it back in and we turned in the papers.
"W-we'll get an examiner right away." She said and stammered away into a back room.
"They must be mages?"
"I think I remember when he was a kid, but who's that woman next to him?"
"Ain't she a elf? Look at those ears, I wonder how much she would sell for."
People continued to murmur under the presumption that we couldn't hear them. I glanced over to Mia and I could feel her trying to reign in her anger. I put my ha d around her waist and pulled her in.
"Call down, you gotta remember that these opined are coming from humans. Don't even waste your time unless they do something to you." I said in a plain tone.
I didn't care if they heard me. I looked down at Mia and saw a light red tint on her cheeks.
"Alright, you can let go now." She said in a low voice. I loosened my grip, but didn't let go. People should know that if they got a problem with one of us both of us can solve it.
"Come this way. We'll use the second building for your test. Since last time you were a B-rank adventurer you'll be taking the A-rank test. However the woman will be taking the E-rank." A man with messy black hair that stopped at his neck said from the corner.
He looked like a slob honestly. It was jiggs the guildmaster.
"Give her the same test as myself." I said. He didn't say anything but walked down a narrow hall and too some doors. Once we left them everyone that was in the guild followed to spectate I guess.
We stepped into a huge room with railing around the field. Once we got in the floor it was surrounded by a magic circle. I guessed it was a defense circle or barrier.
"I'll be testing both of you at the same time. Like I said we'll skip to the A-rank test so prepare yourselves." He said. His body radiated magical energy as he pressed his cane on the ground. A big magic circle appeared in front of him and from it, I could feel a "demonic" presence.
It was still weak though.
A demon started coming up from the magic circle. Everyone in the audience seemed scared and were complaining about that being too much for a small test.
Once the demon was fully summoned Jiggs has sweat rolling down his face and he looked like shit. The demon ran at us, but once it got close enough Mia wrapped it in gold chains.
With the demon restraints I appeared in front of it and kicked it's head off of its shoulders. The audience went quiet, but I heard footsteps coming in from the door and within a moment we saw Fuze come in.
A/N: The actual guildmaster and the guy who was helping Rimuru before Charybdis came.
"Why are you guys here?" He said as he calmed down. At first he looked mad, but once he saw us he seemed to get the gist of the situation.
"We were getting an Identification card so that we can go to Ingracia." I explained.
"Follow me." He said with a sigh.
And so we left the area, walked through the same doors and hallway and made a right turn to a different set of doors. Going through them we were welcomed to an office.
"I'll just write you an introduction letter and you can be on your way. Also, Mia I suggest you do something about your ears. This city is here to kill monsters and they haven't allowed people to-"
"They're to scared to mess with her so we're good." I cut in.
"…Right. Okay we'll sit tight and wait here." Fuze said and left.
"You use to live here huh?" Mia said as she rested her head in her hands and looked at me.
"Yeah. I was just looking for a place to stay stay since I didn't want to live in the forest again." I answered as I sat back and sighed.
"Alright here are your letters and try not to cause trouble." Fuze said with a sigh. We got them and after thanking him we left Blumund.
From that point we jogged to Ingracia in one minute. It would have taken a week or two if, so we just sped up. Once we got to the gate we have showed them our guild cards as a form of ID.
When they saw that we were both A rank adventurers they started acting like we were nobles. The moment we passed the gates the city was amazing. Well not better than the ones in the gods realm or anything, but still amazing for its time.
Walking around while we did get stares it was normal and it was a really happy atmosphere, so Mia didn't seem to be getting swayed by emotions and everything.
Walking around I noticed that these soldiers wore the same gold armor and sword. I hunched my shoulders as we continued to look around.
Suddenly I sensed a large magic signal heading over here and fast. It was so sudden almost like it just appeared out of nowhere. It was weak, but I could tell it was a dragon.
"Why would a dragon appear at a place like this?" I muttered.
"Well let's go get it. I can probably talk to it." Mia said as she looked at me. I nodded and we ran over at a normal pace. We don't want to wipe this place off the map with a sudden sonic boom.
Before we could get there the magic signal suddenly disappeared. We stopped in our tracks as we saw that there was no dragon anymore and everyone seemed fine.
"Hell no, I know it was a dragon around here or at least a baby one." I said looking at the sky. How could something appear and disappear like that? And what was the point? Where did it even come from?
"Fuck it we can fin it later." I said with a sigh. Mia turned around and we began walking our way back to the closest Inn.
**********************************************
A light chapter with nothing heavy. As I'm reading the manga I'm noticing that the anime was changing events around and skipped out on a lot of actually important stuff.
Like a lot.
Anyways. I'm planning on releasing my serious ff in the next few days, but it won't get chapters as frequent as this one will. Like I said before this one wasn't planned out or anything I'm just writing what's coming to mind and trying to tie it with everything else.
My other ff not gonna be taken seriously.
Anyways I'll let you know when it's out, but till then I'm finna read more of the manga for the next few chapters.
