Flying over Akihito could see the entirety of the kingdom. It was big he could say that. He skimmed the kingdom and counted all of its people and there seem to be a total population of 30 million.
"The more the merrier." Akihito let himself free fall and landed on the ground right at the front gate with a bang. A huge dust cloud was raised and the guards along the wall and the ones at the gate were alerted.
"State your business!!" One of them yelled. Once the dust clouds settled they saw Akihito with his sword out. They saw him looking at it like he was thinking then he nodded.
"I think I'll mess around with concepts now." He said plainly. A small smokey blue ball appeared in his hand and it was being absorbed into the blade.
"I'll name you Blank." They saw as he named his sword and looked at him in confusion. Akihito looked up at them like they were idiots.
"I'm in shock and disbelief that you just sat there, heard everything I said, saw me fall from the sky and take no damage, and then just sat there watching me. Your death is your own fault at this point." After saying that he jolted forward and with one Slash to the neck the guard disappeared.
No blood, no body, no trace of existence. It all disappeared.

The rest of the guards looked at the scene in pure shock and horror.
"G-GET HIMMMM!!!!" The last guard at the gate yelled as he ran forward. Akihito wanted to see the blood and the destruction he would cause. He parried a sword swing at his neck and sent a devastating punch into the guards stomach.
His fist traveled straight through the armor and that was it. Once the punch connected with the guys stomach, his guts exploded out of his back and filled up the armor.
Blood streamed out of the guards mouth, nose, and ears as he fell to the ground. Akihito looked up at the archers on the wall that were so stunned in fear that were stuck in an aiming position.
"I'll put the sword away for now." He said as he let the sword sink into darkness. He flash stepped above one of the archers and with an axe kick he squished his body. The sound of bones breaking, armor tearing, and the blood being pooled up only added on to the fear.
He didn't care though. Immediately he twisted his body to the left and and sent right hook to the face he first saw. A head went flying and without missing a beat Akihito grabbed some of the exposed spine and ripped it out of its body.
He froze it and cut the head off the guy next to him. Both bodies drop to the ground, but Akihito wasn't done. He dropped the spine then disappeared and reappeared in front of the archer to his right.
He got so scared he put the bow up to his face leaving his torso exposed. Akihito's hand easily went through the armor and skin as he grabbed on to some intestines. Yanking them out he threw the guard behind him as he dashed forward.
Getting in front of the archer behind him he grabbed his head and and push kicked him in the stomach tearing his head off. It was still on his spine, but it was out of his body.
He lowered his senses to a human level to make this better for him. That didn't change the fact that he was better. He jumped from the wall and onto the ground.
"People should be here to kill me now right?" He mumbled as he walked along the streets. His hand started glowing blue as some flickers of blue flame could be seen. Swinging his hand forward a stream of blue flames flooded the town burning everything.
This attack was meant to draw attention to make this interesting. A lot of people were killed and he didn't care how many. To say that he was thinking straight would be a half truth half lie.
He was fully aware of what he was doing and he didn't care, but he was slowly being swayed by frustration. He just killed around 10,000 people to draw attention.
This was his declaration of a war. Well, more like a massacre. He walked through the fire as he heard all the screams and cries of people.
He didn't really care. There were innocent monsters in Jura that were killed so he was just doing the same thing. He didn't know if this nation in general is responsible, but if they weren't he could just revive them.
"How am I just now thinking of that? Me and Mia could have revived those people. Well forget it." As he mumbled that he sensed a huge amount of magical power being gathered and headed his way.
From what he could see it was from one person. Himata Sakaguchi.
"Who are you?" Akihito asked as he looked at her. She wasn't even as strong as current Shuna.
"I am Hinata Sakaguchi. The leader of the west saint church. I presume you to be Akihito Kisaragi?" She asked as she start unsheathing her sword.
"Yeah, but do you happen to know where three animals are. Presumably A feline, a dragon, and a snake?"
"That's classified information." She said.
"Listen you can get beat and tell me or I can take the information from you then beat you?" He gave her options but she didn't say anything. He could feel that she put an anti-magic barrier and a holy barrier both with the purpose of taking magiculs and killing demons.
Akihito snapped his fingers and both of the barriers were dispelled. Of course he could use actual spells he just didn't need them. Most of what he does is mainly done by using his normal powers.
He could use didn't forms or magic and so on, but he mainly stuck to elements, because they are more practical and versatile. Hinata was more than shocked that he broke her barriers.
"You said you were apart of the heavenly west sword shits right? Were you also in Tempest when they attacked?" Akihito's voice came out colder while his face stayed calm.
"…" Once again she stayed silent. Akihito hunched his shoulders as he swept his hands across the air, removing the fire from the ground.
There was nothing left. For maybe 5 kilometers there was nothing, but scorched and melted land. Hinata saw this and her eyes went cold. She dashed forward with both hand on her sword as it was covered in a holy aura.
"With this skill you'll be dead in seven hits." She said as she swung her sword at his neck. He leaned his head to the side and she quickly brought the sword back going for a stab type of attack.
Akihito spun his body counter clockwise and sent a strong right hook to her face. Her body shot away like a bullet as she rolled to the ground.
"That's it? And you're the leader. Rimuru would beat your ass with ease." Akihito said. She got up and wiped blood from her lips. Of course Akihito wasn't going to go all out or even try. He wanted to see how capable the "leader" was.
Akihito knew how they lost when she put up that barrier. It had multiple effect and they were strong, but not for him. Hinata got up but this time her body had a golden glow to it.
….
Once everyone felt the pressure disappear they all knew it had to be Akihito. No one else could emit that type of pressure. With that they all listed to what Mia had to say.
"As I was saying Akihito's going out to find the western saint church and kill the whole kingdom that plaid a role in this attack. We need to stop him!!" She said quickly.
"Why should we? They were the ones that started this and now they need to deal with the consequences." Out of everyone that was there Mia was the most shocked yo hear that come from Rimuru.
She thought he was a more compassionate person or at least understanding that millions of innocent people are going to die.
"He's going to kill children as well. Once the humans find out about him having a good relationship with you, your plan of coexisting with them can be thrown away." Mia said as aggressively.
She was trying to get there help, because she couldn't stop him for probably more than five minutes and that's if she wants to be in a weak state for a while.
While they couldn't stop him completely even if they did go all out together, they could at least make him see that what he's going to do was because he wasn't thinking straight. That what she hoped at least.
"The humans killed our kids, elderly, and innocent civilians so why should we stop him?" Rimuru said in a nine caring voice.
"Lord Rimuru, while it was humans that attacked Tempest I don't think it would be a good idea to generalize all humans as the same. There are people like Youm, The merchants and adventurers that shouldn't be put in the same category as them." Rigurd said.
"This is true, but I think our relationship with humans in general should be cut short for a while." Rigur suggested.
"That would be impractical since we have good relations with Ingracia. Fuze should already be notified of what's going on." Rimuru said.
"Sorry to interrupt, but one of my clones have spotted grounds of soldiers to the north of the capital. They seem to be using huge crystals for some reason." Souei said.
"Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh." Rimuru let out a loud groan as he slumped down in his chair. He breathed out and opened his eyes which held a cold glint.
"Souei, you and your team kill them and destroy the crystal. Benimaru you can go search the east and handle that. I want Gabiru and the dragon newts on the south. I want Gobta, Ranga, Geld, Hakurou and Rigur to take the find locate and take the base directly. Mia, me and you will try to restrain Akihito as much as possible." Rimuru have out clear and concise orders which everyone followed.
"I can't feel his magic energy or anything, but I can sort of tell where he is. We need to hurry." Mia said and left the building. Rimuru grabbed his sword as he followed after her.
…
As they flew through the air they had a conversation.
"What are our chances of actually stopping him?" Rimuru asked.
"Slim to none. If I go all out I can hold him for a good five minutes, but I'll be too weak to do anything." Mia informed him. He sighed lightly. Even great sage was telling him this was a bad idea.
"At least he's not going berserk." Mia said lowly. Rimuru nodded at that, but his mind was more focused on one thing.
The resurrection of his townspeople and most of all Shion. When he went to the fairy queens labyrinth she had gave him access to her library as well. He was able to copy and accumulate everything that was in the books in a week, and he heard the tell of how Milim became a demon lord.
When he asked great sage if there was a way to bring his people back she only said to become a demon lord and he would have an answer. That was his mission and he wanted to do it with his own hands.
Mia, while not being as mad as everyone else was extremely frustrated. She wanted to lash out in her own way, but that would just bring this world to ruin. She doesn't relieve frustration by fighting and just killing things.
She just goes somewhere quiet and handle her problems by relaxing herself. But right now she wasn't just "frustrated" well she was but she was more frustrated than normal.
She just wanted to stop everything and take a breather, but she didn't. She wanted to see Akihito through his problems for now then handle her own.
She knew he was the type to hold stuff in and she didn't really like it. As partners she thought they should open up more about stuff like their feeling and help each other not only to obtain strength.
She wanted a real bond with him, but he was too complex for her to understand so she decided to do things by trial and error, while being with him.
"We've been flying for like 30 minutes and haven't gotten anywhere." Rimuru said as he looked down and saw that they really haven't gotten anywhere.
"…DAMN IT!!" Mia shouted. Her frustrated but girlish voice was cute as she crossed her arms and hung her head down.
"What happened?" Rimuru asked nervously with some seriousness.
"It's infinite."
"What's infinite?"
"The space between us and his location, it's infinite." Mia said clenching her fist.
"Is it some type of skill?!" Rimuru asked. He was bewildered at this. How could someone do that?
"No, it's just his control over space. It's not a skill or anything." Mia said.
"I see." Rimuru said.
"We have no choice, but to wait for the outcome. Let's head back to Tempest and wait there." He added. His voice was soft with a bit of worry and nervousness. He wasn't good in these types of situations, but with what's going on now he would have to deal with this a lot.
Mia nodded and they flew back in an uncomfortable silence. Mia had spells that she could use to teleport and she had charms that could work, but she didn't bet on them. After all they might not even teleport to him.
With that they waited. While they did wait, Mia was in no mood to be left out of revenge. After all they killed her "sister".
