For Love or Freedom

Gorak stared down at the trembling prison guards before him.

"Brave little sh*ts! Hahahaha!", he mocked them.

"You know, bravery has killed far more people than it has saved.

It's been ages since I've used my powers. I'm out of practice. But since you've offered yourselves up to be sacrificed, it would be rude of me to refuse you."

"Say your prayers!", he pounced.

...

This is the part of the story where there'd be loud rock music playing in the background, while the male lead demolishes a troop of 200 armed men, severing heads, breaking arms, and tearing bodies apart; smiling the whole time.

It is barely a fight as Gorak defeats all the Guardians in clumps like he is just crushing ants. In just a minute, all 200 men are floored.

"How disappointing. That was just like fighting sheep!"

He expected better.
