Both Karla and Master Hiro pressed on, in search of the demon that had attacked the school. Karla's mind detached for a moment as her emotions started spiralling out of control. Sadness, frustration and the feeling of being used and betrayed. All these negative things started to taunt and play with her heart strings until the pain was too unbearable. Despite putting her full trust in Neon, it all amounted to nothing in her eyes ; she was betrayed as her trust was thrown right back at her. "Why....Why Neon....all this time I was beginning to think you were different...but it looks like I was wrong." She thought to herself as despair took control over her once more. Master Hiro saw the state in which Karla was in however, he decided not to talk about the matter with her as he himself did not understand. "If Neon was the attacker, then it would prove he was a demon as he used powers which only the demons possessed. But more importantly, what would be the reason for why he attacked the school. However, if the attackers were the iratheons, then how did they get in the Earth's barrier never mind the schools barrier." All these questions in Hiro's mind left him completely absorbed in thought.
A few moments went by until Master hiro stopped in his tracks causing Karla to stop also. "Hey what's wrong?" She asked curious on why he suddenly stopped. "When we began our search, I could feel the demons aura, it was faint, but it was there. However, I can no longer feel its presence anymore...Dammit!" Just as they were losing hope, a voice which sounded very familiar could be heard. "Hey!! over here Master hiro. Your here too Karla?" Just as the person started closing the gap between them. He began to speak in a more serious tone. "You have to listen to me. The school is in danger, There's two demo....." His sentence was suddenly cut of by Karla. "Stop right there demon!" She Shouted. Upon hearing this, it totally confused Neon, little did he know that they were attacked by a demon which took his form. "I don't get it...what's going on Karla?" Neon called out, the innocence in his voice striking a chord in Karla's heart.
"Stop right there, Neon!" Master Hiro's voice boomed with authority as he summoned his chaotic powers, ensnaring Neon in a web of unpredictable energy. Shocked, Neon struggled against his restraints, confusion and fear etched across his face.
"Wait! What's happening?" Neon cried out, his voice laced with genuine bewilderment. "Why are you doing this?"
Karla, torn between her trust in Neon and the overwhelming evidence against him, approached cautiously. She gazed into his pleading eyes, searching for any sign of the truth. "Neon, how could you?" she whispered, her voice heavy with disappointment.
"No, Karla, please listen to me!" Neon's voice trembled as he desperately pleaded his innocence. "I have no idea what the demon has done, but I swear to you. I had nothing to do with it!" Karla hesitated, her heart torn between her friendship with Neon and the overwhelming weight of doubt. The demon's deception had shattered her trust, leaving her feeling betrayed and vulnerable.
Ignoring Neon's cries for help, Karla turned away, her resolve firm. She couldn't let sentiment cloud her judgment, not when the safety of the school was at stake. She turned around, turning her back to Neon. She couldn't bear to look at him for when she would, remnants of him tearing into Hana's lifeless body was edged into her mind.
Karla's eyes welled with tears, her internal struggle evident. She had shared a deep connection with Neon, trusting him like no one else. But the his betrayal had cast a shadow over their bond.
"Your pleas won't sway me, Neon," Karla said, her voice cold and distant. "You may have fooled me once, but I won't let it happen again. The evidence speaks for itself."
As Karla turned away, Neons heart sank. He couldn't believe that the person he trusted, the one he thought would stand by his side, had now become his captor. "Thats enough!" Master hiro said asserting dominance. "The situation has gotten out of control. The higher ups will have to deal with you now." He said as he started to drag Neons ensnared and restrained body back to the school. "AAAAHHH! The situation is in chaos! Let me take over Neon, I'll kill these lowlives and be done with this charade! Exclaimed FH in a voice which sounded like thunder. He had never sounded as desperate or frustrated as he was now. "You'll do no such thing FH, Don't you ever think about harming my friends! I'll handle this...."
"How the hell do you plan on getting out of this predicament." FH bellowed with frustration. "You shouting at me isn't gonna help. I'm sorry FH but your just gonna have to trust me." He tried to sound as confident as possible because in reality, Neon didn't have a clue on to how he would fix this huge problem. All he thought was what could the demon have done to make his close friend react the way she did....
As Neon continued to plead and struggle. Master Hiro's suspicions began to grow even nore so than before. Capturing Neon was way too easy which caused Hiro to think more that maybe he wasn't responsible for the attack. However, this would mean that the demon that did attack the school had taken Neon's form, but either way, Neon was still wrapped up in this bizarre situation somehow. So when he heard Neon talking to himself, he merely noted it down as him being afraid or unable to make sense of the situation. However Karla on the other hand knew that he was talking to the demon lurking within him, and she was starting to convince herself that he was the one behind this. She recalled Neon saying that he would have no memory of events that would take place while FH would be in control. With this in mind, it only made sense to her that it was him that was behind the attack.
As the three of them entered the military school. Master Hiro, along with Karla took Neon to a nearby elevator which was on their right. As the elevator started to descend below the school, a few seconds went by until a ticking chime sound was heard by which the door started to open. Upon entering the room which looked like a court. It could be seen that the room was filled with teachers and students eagerly awaiting the trial.
The room fell silent as Master Hiro and Karla escorted Neon to a raised platform, where he would be judged. Neon, overwhelmed by the solemnity of the room and the gazes upon him, couldn't help but feel intimidated as he took a large gulp. The room was filled with tales of damaged grounds, injured classmates, and disrupted classes. Neon listened intently, his heart heavy. "It sounds like the other demon has already caused damage, and they all seem to think I'm responsible. Could it be that the demon Framed me?" Said Neon in a questioning manner. "Thats exactly what I think! in fact, I'm almost certain he used a shape shifting ability to copy your form. Once that was done, he reeked havoc to his hearts content, and once he was caught it wouldn't be a problem. In fact, it would be a positive outcome as the blame would be pinned on you. This is one cunning demon." Said FH thinking of when he can finally get his hands on it. "Okay...I'm just gonna tell them the truth then. That way, it'll at least give me a chance to prove my innocence." If it wasn't for FH's theory about what could have happened, Neon wouldn't have come up with a solid plan so with this being said, it gave both of them a chance to escape the dark tunnel they were in. "I hope this plan of your works out for the both of us." FH said.
The room, adorned with tall pillars and intricate symbols etched into the walls, was filled with teachers and students awaiting Neon's judgment. The atmosphere crackled with anticipation and tension. In front of Neon, all the Military school heads could be seen. The air around them gave off an intimidating aura which asserted justice. The heads, known for their wisdom and fairness, stood their ground, their eyes fixed on Neon.
With a calm but firm voice, Mr Aurelius who was the head of the 4th years began, "Neon, you stand accused of a grievous offense....the murder of Hana Oswald as well as other offenses that has caused distress within our sacred school. Your actions have led us to believe that you are in league with dark forces...before hearing the words of the accused, we shall first hear the words of the witnesses." Upon hearing this, some of the audience was silenced at the heart breaking news while the other part of the audience could be heard chattering away as Mr Aurelius waved his hand signalling Karla to step forward. As for Neon, he was speechless. "The demon murdered someone!?" He thought. The situation was beginning to get more out of hand. You see with there being a murder, it was now less likely for his plan to work as they would hesitate to trust him.
Karla, with a gentle yet stern gaze, stepped forward till she was on Neons left. "Karla, you were the one that encountered Neon in his rampage correct?" "Yes, that's correct Mr Aurelius." Karla responded. "Then tell us what happened with your encounter with Neon..."
