(CHAPTER 38) DESTRUCTIVE EMBODIMENT

The battle between Neon and Keith reached its apex, their clash echoing through the air like thunder. Keith, fueled by his desire to destroy everything Neon held dear, unleashed his relentless fury upon him. But Neon's resolve to protect the people he loved burned fiercely within him, driving him to match Keith's unimaginable strength.

"You underestimate the power of love and loyalty," Neon growled, his voice resonating with determination. "I will not allow you to harm those who are dear to me!" Neon snarled as he tapped deeper into his power, beginning his transformation into his Nephalem form he used against Mordred.

Keith's wicked grin twisted into a sneer of frustration. "Love and loyalty, what pathetic notions!" he spat. "You don't deserve such power when it is used to preserve such a feeble race."

Neon refused to be swayed by Keith's taunts. With a surge of energy, his transformation into a nephalem was complete. Majestic wings erupted from his back, one shrouded in sinister darkness, the other radiating ethereal light. Neon's eyes blazed with newfound power and conviction.

"This power is not just for me," Neon declared, his voice infused with both darkness and light. "It is for the protection of all that is good and just!"

With a thunderous clash, Neon and Keith engaged in a fierce duel, their blows shaking the very foundations of their surroundings. The air crackled with their immense power, creating ripples that stirred the onlookers' awe and fear.

(Meanwhile) The situation was getting out of control and the humanoid creatures were starting to get on the upper hand. "I guess it cant be helped." Mr. Aurelius, the enigmatic head of the school, tapped into the depths of his secretive power....the power of destruction embodiment. He used this unfathomable ability to confront the enemy with calculated precision. As he engaged in battle, he harnessed the raw forces of annihilation to devastating effect.

(Destructive embodiment, in its simplest form, refers to the ability to embody or channel destructive forces. It grants an individual the power to harness and manipulate destructive energy or forces for various purposes, such as causing destruction, unleashing devastating attacks, or overwhelming opponents with destructive power. This ability allows the user to tap into immense destructive potential and utilize it according to their will.)

With each movement, Mr. Aurelius channeled destructive energies, manipulating them with unparalleled mastery. His strikes were infused with a controlled chaos, unleashing waves of raw power that tore through the enemy's defenses. The air crackled with energy as he shattered their barriers and shattered their resolve.

In a display of precise devastation, Mr. Aurelius strategically targeted weak points, exploiting vulnerabilities with a surgeon's precision. He unraveled the very fabric of their existence, dismantling the humanoid creature's structures and rending their forms apart. With each strike, his power reverberated, resonating with the echoes of their defeat.

His destructive embodiment power extended beyond mere physical might. He manipulated the battlefield itself, utilizing the environment to his advantage. Cracks formed beneath his opponents, causing the ground to rupture and crumble beneath their feet. Structures splintered and collapsed under the weight of his wrath, reinforcing the notion that he was a force to be reckoned with.

However, Mr. Aurelius was careful to temper his power, ensuring that the true extent of his destructive prowess remained concealed. He did not unleash the full breadth of his capabilities, opting instead for measured and controlled displays of force. It was a testament to his discipline and understanding of the repercussions such immense power could have.

As the battle raged on, Mr. Aurelius displayed a remarkable sense of restraint, aware of the fine line between preservation and obliteration. He fought with a calm determination, carefully calculating the necessary force to neutralize the threat without causing unnecessary collateral damage.

As the battle unfolded, the students watched in awe and disbelief. They had rarely witnessed the head of the school exhibit his unfathomable power, and the sheer magnitude of his abilities left them stunned.

"He's using his power! I've heard rumors, but I never thought I'd see it with my own eyes," one student whispered, their voice trembling with astonishment.

"Mr. Aurelius rarely ever uses his ability. It must be incredibly powerful if he's resorting to it now," another student murmured, their eyes wide with surprise.

The students stood in a collective hush, their gazes locked on Mr. Aurelius as he commanded the forces of destruction with unwavering precision. Each strike unleashed a display of power beyond their wildest imagination.

"He's been keeping this hidden from us all this time. I can't believe the power he possesses," one student murmured, their voice filled with a newfound respect.

"He's a force to be reckoned with. No wonder he's the head of our school," another student remarked, their tone filled with admiration and pride.

Mr. Cardinel stood at the scene, his eyes scanning the aftermath of Mr. Aurelius's destructive power. The area was riddled with cracks, debris scattered about, and the surroundings bore the marks of immense force. As he observed the damage, a sigh escaped his lips, mingled with a sense of concern.

"I understand that Mr. Aurelius is exercising restraint," Mr. Cardinel murmured, his voice filled with a mixture of admiration and worry. "But even with his control, the sheer magnitude of his abilities still causes significant damage to the environment.....well that's Mr Aurelius for you."

He took a moment to assess the surroundings, his gaze shifting from the cracked floor to the toppled structures nearby. The impact of Mr. Aurelius's power was evident, and it left Mr. Cardinel speechless.

The students watched in awe as Mr. Aurelius continued to command his destructive embodiment power, leaving a trail of devastation in his wake. They couldn't help but feel a mix of awe, inspiration, and a touch of trepidation, realizing the immense strength that resided within their respected head.

However, though his power was vast and overwhelming, Mr. Aurelius always left room for mercy. When the battle reached its conclusion, he bowed his head, grief-stricken at the sight of his fallen foes. In those solemn moments, he whispered a silent prayer, a heartfelt acknowledgment of the lives that had been lost.

His use of destruction embodiment power was a testament to his burdened existence, his ability to wield destruction while remaining dedicated to the protection of the innocent. It was a dance of controlled chaos, a balancing act between his formidable power and his desire to safeguard the fragile lives that surrounded him.

As he defeated the last of the creatures, Mr. Aurelius concealed any visible signs of exhaustion, his demeanor unwavering. He carried the weight of his power silently, ensuring that only a select few would ever glimpse the true extent of his destructive prowess.

Once the battle concluded, a heavy weight settled upon his shoulders. He gazed at the remnants of the creatures he had fought, once human but now transformed into mindless beasts. A sense of grief filled his heart as he pondered the tragedy of their existence. "Well, that takes care of that," he murmured, his voice tinged with a mix of relief and sorrow.

However, his moment of reflection was interrupted by Mr. Cardinel's playful bump on his head. The impact brought him back to the present, and Mr. Cardinel's exasperated words echoed in his ears. "Yes, you took care of them, but you almost took the school down with you, dammit!" Mr. Cardinel's frustration was palpable, a testament to his concern for the safety of their surroundings.

Caught off guard, Mr. Aurelius couldn't help but let out a half-hearted chuckle. "Ah, this is why I don't like using my power haha. Im sorry" he admitted, a hint of regret lacing his words. He understood the consequences of his immense destructive abilities and the potential harm they could cause. The weight of responsibility sat heavily upon him.

With their banter concluded, the two heads, with a calm and measured stride, rejoined the teachers and students who had gathered to witness the climactic battle between Neon and Keith. Mr Aurelius, observed, and was astounded at what he was seeing. Laying his eyes first-hand on a real celestial being was too much for him to handle for a moment. "So this is what it feels like to be in the precense of a celestial being. Just how on earth did you get this power Neon." He whispered in a suspicious yet calm manner. He was skeptical about Neon at first but seeing him fight with a foe that threatened the school itself made his heart a little less tense. "Win this for us Neon!" He said with a slight smile etched upon his face.

"AAAAHHH" Yelled Neon as his death scythe combated with Keith's sinister dark energy. "I will not let you wreak havoc anymore. THIS ENDS NOW." He yelled, screaming at the top of his lungs and pushing past his limits. "Hahahaha, Your a fool if you think you can stop me as I am. Even with your Nephalem form, you stand no chance against me." Keith hissed as he sought victory in this battle more than anything else.

Neon's scream echoed through the battlefield, reverberating with his sheer determination and the power coursing through his veins. His Nephalem form radiated with ethereal energy, a testament to the strength that surged within him. With each strike of his death scythe, he pierced through Keith's defenses, sending shockwaves of power through their clash.

"You think you can defeat me? I won't allow it!" Keith's voice rang out, filled with defiance and a twisted determination. He unleashed his own amplified power, matching Neon's celestial form with his own ferocious strength.

With a mighty roar, Keith swiftly maneuvered behind Neon, his Chi manifesting into a deadly scythe. It was a calculated attempt to strike at Neon's vulnerable back. But Neon, driven by the intensity of the battle, tapped into his newfound angelic ability, his eyes gleaming with determination.

"Your attack won't succeed!" Neon's voice cut through the air, laced with newfound confidence. With a swift and fluid motion, he countered Keith's assault, turning the tables and launching his own devastating counterattack.

"Is that all you've got?" Neon's words carried a mix of triumph and defiance. The tide of battle had shifted, and he now held the upper hand. His newfound ability granted him the power to surpass Keith's attack, turning it into a weapon against him.

But as he was about to execute the finishing blow, Neon's Nephalem form neared its limit, his energy waned, and the celestial radiance gradually faded. He transformed back into his original form, feeling the weight of his fatigued body. Although he did have unlimited stamina it didn't prevent the fact that he could still experience muscle fatigue or some form of physical deterioration.

"No... it can't end like this," Neon whispered, his voice strained yet resolute. He faced Keith, the remnants of his celestial power lingering around him like a fading aura. Fatigue weighed heavily upon him, but his spirit remained unbroken.

Amidst the disparity in energy levels, Keith's laughter rang out with a malicious tone. "HAHAHAHA! Look at you now, weakling! You're nothing without your Nephalem power!" Keith taunted, his voice dripping with derision.

As Neon's transformation waned, a deep sense of despair threatened to consume him. The vast gap in power between Keith and himself seemed insurmountable, fueling Keith's taunts and jeers.

"You're nothing but a weakling now! How does it feel to be so powerless?" Keith's words echoed in Neon's ears, amplifying his doubts and casting a shadow over his spirit. "Dammit! what do I do...can I even defeat him as I am now?" All these doubts in Neons mind pushed him further into the pits of the abyss.

Just as Neon had lost all hope, a voice whispered from the depths of his mind...

"Are you really going to give up that easily?"

It was FH! The ally he had feared lost in the battle against Mordred. FH's presence, though weakened and depleted, radiated a glimmer of hope in the darkness.

Tears filled Neon's eyes as FH's voice resonated within him. Relief washed over him, knowing that his ally still existed, even if dormant within his own being. FH's words of encouragement ignited a spark within Neon's heart, rekindling the flickering flame of his own strength.

"Hey kid! You cant just give up that easily. You've come so far, Neon. Don't let this setback define you. You are much stronger than you think," FH's voice echoed within Neon's mind, infused with a resilience that inspired him to rise once more.

With newfound determination, Neon wiped away his tears and squared his shoulders. The despair that had threatened to overwhelm him gave way to a fiery resolve. He turned his gaze back to Keith, his voice filled with unwavering conviction.
"My strength goes beyond appearances. It comes from within, from the bonds I share with those I protect. And that is something you will never understand!" Neon's words cut through the air, infused with the determination that fueled his every action. Keith, upon seeing his fiery spirit rekindling, gave a slight smirk which showed a hint of frustration. "Anything you do will ammount to nothing so long as you use your power for weaklings, that is not the purpose of such strength. Allow me to show you, what true strength looks like!" He snarled as both him and Neon both took their stances.

With FH's words echoing in his mind, Neon rekindled the embers of his spirit. He propelled himself back into the battle, refusing to be swayed by Keith's taunts. Though his power was diminished, Neon fought with every ounce of resilience and tenacity that defined his character.

However, Neon's weary body strained under the weight of fatigue, he knew he had to seize a momentary advantage. "Dammit, I just need to create an opening." With sheer determination, he summoned his pyrokinesis, directing scorching flames towards Keith's eyes. However, Keith effortlessly shielded himself with his dark demonic energy.

"c'mon, you can do better than that!" Keith's mocking laughter echoed through the air, taunting Neon's futile attempts. But Neon had a plan, a newfound ability he had honed in his fierce battle against Mordred. With a resolute determination, he activated his Astral Perception, creating a perfect replica of himself while he stealthily moved behind Keith.

As Keith deflected the pyrokinesis, his eyes widened as he saw an opportunity to strike. With a sadistic grin, he swiftly thrust his demonic weapon, aiming to impale Neon. But to his bewilderment, his weapon pierced through nothing but air as the copy of Neon dissipated into thin air.

"What just happened?" Keith's voice filled with confusion as he scanned the area, searching for any sign of the real Neon. His mind raced to comprehend the illusion he had fallen for.

With lightning speed, the real Neon, wielding his angel blade, summoned the power of pyrokinesis, engulfing the blade in scorching flames. He charged at Keith's blind spot, his voice filled with unwavering resolve.

However, Keith was unexpectedly very perceptive of the situation and saw the attack coming which gave him enough time to react. "Your tricks won't save you!" Keith growled, quickly reacting to block Neon's assault with his shroud of darkness. The clash of their weapons sent sparks flying, as the forces of light and darkness collided.

the audience which surrounded the battle were shocked to the core. "How was Neon surviving this battle against a powerful demon?" "How could Neon possibly be this strong." All These questions rang in their minds as they anticipated how the fight would turn out. Keith sneered at Neon's boldness. "Did you really think THAT would kill me?"

Neon's voice rang out, brimming with determination. "No, I didn't. I just needed to distract you."

In that crucial moment, Keith's lower body lay exposed, vulnerable to an impending strike. Neon's voice reverberated with unwavering resolve. "Now....!"
