Chapter 041: A New Annoyance

Higura was once again sitting in his classroom but he couldn't help but feel like something was wrong. He constantly felt like he was being watched and it felt different from the other times it had happened to him.

'Could it be another stalker…? No! No! I do not want to keep dealing with stalkers!'

Higura sighed and stood up. It was the end of the day and he'd been sitting while thinking about what he would do for the rest of the day.

'Guess I should go investigate…'

He walked out of the classroom and roamed the halls for a bit to see if anyone was still in the school. He couldn't find anyone so he went to the Library to see if there were any new books that intrigued him.

'Maybe my senses have just heightened now that I've already experienced having stalkers…I'm sure there wouldn't be another! Hopefully that's not just wishful thinking…'

He reached the Library and searched through the hundreds of books available but couldn't find one that peaked his interest.

'Guess I'll go home then. I need to write anyway.'

My name is Kenji Morimoto! My goal is to befriend every person in this school! I've already nearly reached my goal but I have reached my first boss fight…Higura Sato! I've been avoiding this moment since the moment I began my mission but I can no longer push it to the side. If I can succeed in befriending him there will be no one who stands in my path of friendship!

After following him around for an entire day he seems to be relatively normal but I can't seem to find anything related to his interests. In terms of the notes I've written there isn't much to say, someone who keeps to themselves can be really hard to gain information about. Not to mention he's a huge bully supposedly!

"Okay! Let's do this!"

He popped his head from behind one of the bookshelves and started to follow him silently. Every time Higura turned around he would hide behind one of the closest objects he had near him and evade the vision of Higura.

'Hmhm…If I follow him I may be able to find something out that will help me bond with him…'

"I can see you."

"Eh?! How?!"

Kenji jumped up from his hiding place.

"So there really was someone there."

"Huh? You didn't actually know I was there?!"

"Correct."

"So why did you say you saw someone?!"

"It felt like I was being followed so I had to test."

"So if I didn't jump out….Well I'm not letting my plans be ruined so easily!"

He pointed his finger at Higura and was shouting an awful lot.

"Can you stop yelling? It's annoying."

"Like I said I'm not letting you ruin my grand-!"

Higura grabbed Kenji by his collar and held him up to his face.

"Once again. Shut. The. Fuck. Up. I think you can understand it if I put in those simple terms, you don't appear to be too bright after all."

Kenji now understood what people meant when they said that Higura wasn't the greatest guy around and was facing it hands on. He didn't know what to do so he instead just surrendered.

"U-Um….Y-Yeah, I'll be quiet…"

Higura put him down and continued walking away leaving Kenji by himself. He dropped to his knees feeling like his life had just been spared and began to have a slightly different thought process.

My name is Kenji Morimoto and my plan was to befriend everyone is school. I have just come across my first boss but it feels like he should be more of a final boss…Maybe even the secret final boss that's even harder then the normal final boss…It appears my original goal will be much harder to complete then I originally thought. But…I won't give up! If I can overcome this level 10,000 boss battle I'll surely be able to take on anyone else to complete my goal! This is only the beginning of our battle of friendship, Higura Sato!

Higura felt a shiver through through his spine as he felt like his life was about to become even harder then it already was.
