16 year old Sato Higura was a loner, he purposely was. He wanted to not be bothered so he could write his novels and do the things he liked without people knowing or interrupting. However, it seems his personality and interests that he normally hides were just too likable to the point where he was surrounded by a harem of girls! He of course wanted to be alone, but alas...the harem was inevitable.

When I finish all of the main plot points and reach the ending of the story I plan on writing alternate endings which can all be considered cannon, it doesn’t matter the order they release in, you just choose whoever you consider to be best girl.

This story is intended to be fun, so some chapters may be extremely short while some may be long, just thought I’d say that.

For everyone who didn’t know, all of my books are part of the same universe, meaning characters from this one may appear in others as well, some things can be explained better if you read through some of my other novels so you can see what was happening at the same time with another novel. I’m just saying you can tell when events are taking place at the same time.

He Didn’t Want One, But The Harem Was Inevitable

'Kenji Morimoto has entered the boss domain.'


Kenji had entered Higura's classroom which he considered to be the boss domain. Higura was on his phone writing as usual and Kenji was sneaking up to him very slowly. Everyone in the class was looking at him strangely as he made his way towards Higura.


'If I just make no sound as I make my way ov-'


He was in mid sneaking and Higura turned his head to look at him. 


"I asked what are you doing. So, will you answer my question?"


He darted out of the classroom abandoning the boss domain and therefore forfeiting the fight. He ran quite a ways before stopping and leaning on a wall. 


'The infiltration was a failure…I'll have to be better next time! But where will the next boss domain be…Perhaps the library? He does go there quite often.'


Kenji waited in the library for the rest of the day until Higura would come in. He ended up skipping all of his classes by doing this but he believed it to be a worthy reason.


After school came and Higura had walked in with Kanna alongside him.


'Hm? Who's this…Ah Kanna Shiratori! What sort of connection does she have with this demon of a boss? I must investigate…'


Higura and Kanna walked over to a bookshelf to look at books together. They were picking ones out that they thought they'd both enjoy reading.


'Intriguing, they are obviously close but why isn't Higura acting as his normal self?'


Kenji was watching them through a bookshelf but he could only see their lower halves as he didn't want to accidentally be seen if he was watching them at eye level. 


'I think I understand now…He clearly has other intentions by being with Kanna, I must save her from this fate! But wait…If I go there now he'll know I was watching them and who knows what will happen…'


He continued watching them and soon after they went over to one of the tables and began reading the books they had picked out for each other. Higura was of course using the book as future reference and a way to generate ideas while Kanna used her book to try and learn more of Higura's interests.


He was now hiding his face in a book and watching them from another table. He didn't know what to make of them reading but he know had a mindset of saving Kanna from the manipulation of Higura, which of course nothing like that was going on.


'When can I come in to make the epic save? It's only a matter of time before it's too late! Just look at how she's acting!'


Kanna was intently reading but there wasn't really anything different then usual besides a slight reddening of her face.


'She is clearly under his bidding! I wonder what horrible things will happen to her if this goes on! I must act now, my hero inside of me says so!'


He jumped onto the table and threw his book towards Higura. Higura however happened to stretch just as it has reaching him and instead of hitting him it just flew past his face.


He turned his head to see Kenji standing on the table and they just looked at each other for a bit.


"Shoot! It's time for my dashing escape!"


Kenji jumped off the table and darted towards the goal once again failing his goal. The only difference this time was that he now had a second goal of wanting save Kanna from some kind of horrible fate.


Chapter 047: The Friend Hunter Returns
