16 year old Sato Higura was a loner, he purposely was. He wanted to not be bothered so he could write his novels and do the things he liked without people knowing or interrupting. However, it seems his personality and interests that he normally hides were just too likable to the point where he was surrounded by a harem of girls! He of course wanted to be alone, but alas...the harem was inevitable.

When I finish all of the main plot points and reach the ending of the story I plan on writing alternate endings which can all be considered cannon, it doesn’t matter the order they release in, you just choose whoever you consider to be best girl.

This story is intended to be fun, so some chapters may be extremely short while some may be long, just thought I’d say that.

For everyone who didn’t know, all of my books are part of the same universe, meaning characters from this one may appear in others as well, some things can be explained better if you read through some of my other novels so you can see what was happening at the same time with another novel. I’m just saying you can tell when events are taking place at the same time.

He Didn’t Want One, But The Harem Was Inevitable

Higura was on the rooftop of his school with Hayate and Sota. It was after school and they were thinking of what to do with each other since they had made plans to hang out but didn't think of what they'd actually do. Hayate decided to bring up something completely off topic to see if this could lead to something happening.


"So I recently heard that a town in America disappeared, I bet they are trying to cover something up. What that is I don't actually know…But I bet it's some crazy experiment! Like super humans or something!"


Sota and Higura both just looked at Hayate trying to think on why he would bring that up.


"Where did you hear this exactly? It sounds very doubtful to say the least."


"It's true I swear! Or at least from my sources it's true."


"Sources are always meant to be kept a secret! You never know who will be eavesdropping and try to steal my informants from me."


"…Yeah. That definitely sounds like a reason on why you can't tell us."


"You don't have to say it with a sarcastic tone! I'm serious!"


"Listen, you always take things too far. You're probably exaggerating what happened. We should know, we've been stuck with you for years because of you taking things too far."


"…I don't really like the way you put that sentence. It makes it sound as if you're simply stuck with me…"


"Don't worry about it, we may be stuck to you but that's because we've been life long friends. Right Sota? …Sota?"


Sota appeared to be deep in thought and now compared to Sota and Higura looking at Hayate, it was now Hayate and Higura looking at Sota. Higura snuck up behind him and grabbed his shoulders.


"Why couldn't you? You know I scare easily."


"…Could it be you're scared of what Hayate said? Afraid our city will disappear as well?"


"O-Of course not! I know it's just Hayate trying to scare us!"


"No I'm not! I mean, yes it could be considered scary but it's also the sense of mystery that can drive our emotions. We should investigate the disappearance of the town ourselves and become world famous investigators!"


"…And how do you plan on getting to America? You're parents would never let you. You know how they act."


"Egh! Look, look, just listen for a second. What if we just don't tell my parents that I was thinking of something like this and forget I ever said anything about it! You'll help me out, right Sota?"


"S-Sure…I'm sure that I'll be able to forget something like this in a short ti-Ah!"


Sota latched onto Higura and peeked around his shoulder to just see that he had been jump scared by a bird.


"No, I don't think I will. It was quite funny."


Sota chased after Higura off the rooftop and down the stairs leaving Hayate by himself.


"Haaah, maybe one day we will solve this conspi-Ah!"


Hayate darted down the stairs after he had been jump scared by the same bird.
