Chapter 049: Idol Work

Kotone hadn't been in school for an entire week since she was being made to practice for an upcoming concert of hers and because of this she couldn't attack Higura to write more songs.

"Today's the last day of practice! Soon I can continue my war with Higura."

She was in her dressing room and taking break from practice. She was in one of her many idol costumes and sitting in them wasn't the most comfortable ever so she kept changing her sitting position to try and find a comfortable way of sitting.

She stretched and began to spin around in her chair trying to find a way to cure her boredom. She was also sitting upside down so her head hung off the end of the seat as she found that to be the most comfortable. She nearly fell off her chair multiple times but continued spinning anyways. She heard her door open and spun to look at the door.

It was one of the stage managers and they just kinda looked at each other for awhile before saying anything. He was making a confused expression but regained his composure quickly.

"You're going to be coming back out soon so make sure you're ready. At most five minutes."

"Okay."

He closed the door and Kotone continued to sit upside down.

'This is much more comfortable then I was expecting…'

She continued spinning in her chair for the next five minutes then left her dressing room. She went onto the stage and practiced the performance she had already practiced many times before. She finished the session and some of the people there gave her their opinions on the performance. They all said that the performance was great and she went back to her dressing room to once again sit upside down while spinning, this time drinking while doing so. She nearly choked a few times but she managed to finish a bottle so she felt successful.

She was once again bored so she decided to think of tactics to get Higura to write songs for her. She rolled out some paper and made a layout of the school.

"Man, I forgot I sucked at drawing."

Besides the fact that the drawing was horrible it got the point across. She marked out the points that Higura stayed at most of the time when he was at school. The back of the school, the library, his classroom and the gym. He often spent time at these places so she tried to formulate a plan to use these places to her advantage.

"I could join the drama club since he seems to be at least a partial member. I'm sure they'd be thrilled if I joined, but he only goes there every now and then, not everyday. It could still be fun though…Then again I probably wouldn't be able to go too often either…I may be in his class but I don't get many opportunities to talk with him since he seems to always be with other people…Now that I think about it how does he have so many friends given the fact I've heard he's pretty much the biggest dick in school…"

She thought it over for a while before being called out to continue practice.

'Guess I'll think about it some other time…'
