What was it?

"Dude, you're just going to be a piece of baggage if you come. The guy's a vampire. You won't stand a chance against him." Tanya didn't mince her words and revealed the harsh truth to Zinbad.

But Zinbad was determined. "That may be right. But I'll still tag along. You know, I still regret the fact that I didn't go with you the last time you met him. Who knows, we could've saved your sister that time if I was there." He said as he lamented his actions.

"If you did come with me last time, I would've been responsible for two deaths that night. I can't let an innocent man die for no reason, you know?" Tanya said as she patted him.

"No one thinks you are responsible for your sister's death," Zinbad spoke out but was quickly interrupted by Tanya.

"Yea, yea. But we don't have much time to have this talk—save it for some other time. Let's hurry." Tanya said as she looked at Zinbad with glee. She felt like it was a bud moment.

"Wait, Zinbad. We need to talk." Addison, who waited for their adorable conversation to be over, talked.

"Okay," Zinbad said as both Tanya and himself, stood on the hallway, waiting for Addison to speak.

"Alone." Addison was clear on that.

"Ah, I'll get to the car and wait for you. Come fast." Tanya decided not to spoil the mood and hurriedly left.

"Kay." Zinbad sighed and asked. "So, what is it?"

On the outside of Addison's crib, Tanya was waiting near the car for almost five minutes. "What's with these guys taking their sweet ass time chatting up with each other? Don't they know that we are on a limited time?" She thought as she fumed. "After all the talk of helping me, is that guy ever gonna get his ass up here? For fuck's sake."

In the midst of her venting her anger through her thoughts, Zinbad came. "Sorry, I'm late. Let's go." He apologized.

"Wait." Addison came by the door to stop Zinbad. Tanya's eyebrows twitched a bit after seeing him.

"What now?" Zinbad looked irritated as he walked towards Addison.

"Here, take this," Addison said as he gave an earpiece to Zinbad.

"This is…" He was taken aback. He's a quite emotional guy, so when gifted things, he usually gets really stoked.

"I wanna get a live report from you. After all, it's not gonna be stealthy enough if you're placing a phone near your ear all the time, right?" Addison said. Seeing him smile a bit, Zinbad got even more emotional as he placed the earpiece. "And…" Addison took off one of Zinbad's buttons and ruined the emotional scene.

"Hey, this is a relatively new shirt. I bought it two years ago. Don't destroy it!" Zinbad cried to hollow ears.

"Stay still. I just wanna—done. It doesn't look that bad or inconspicuous for that matter." Addison kept the wriggling Zinbad on the place as he replaced the button.

"What is this? A hidden camera?" He asked as he looked towards the thing which replaced his beloved button.

"Ding ding. You got it! Now I can see what you're seeing. If you don't mess with it." Addison said, giving a thumbs up. "Now, you're ready to go." Addison looked like a mom who's sending her son to school in Tanya's eyes for no reason whatsoever.

"Aye aye captain." Zinbad saluted at Addison and got in the car.

"See you soon, then." Addison waved in typical mom fashion. Tanya thought that Addison could be a great mom, even though he was a guy, for some odd reason.

In the site where they found the vampire waving his arms around, Zinbad was busy playing spy. "We're here near a trashcan. We're currently hiding in wait for the vampire guy, over." He reported through the earpiece.

"Yea, I can see that," Addison screamed, even though technically he just increased the volume of the mic. However, the results were the same—Zinbad's ears ached. Addison sighed before he continued. "You know, you don't have to relay everything that you do down there. I gave the earpiece to you so that I could listen and give some damn commands. So guess what, I'm gonna cut the comms for a few minutes and give myself some well-deserved peace." Addison said as he took himself out of the predicament.

"Roger that," Zinbad replied as he took off the earpiece.

Since the communication was down, Tanya decided to question Zinbad. "So, what happened between you and Addison?"

"What do you mean?" He asked, not aware of what she meant.

"Well, he pulled you back for a talk, right? What was it about?" She asked again.

"Oh, that? Honestly, I don't know. He said something; I acted as if I listened and there's that." He explained looking aloof.

"He's gonna be very angry if he heard you," Tanya said as she gave out a laugh. Knowing Zinbad these past few days, she knew what he said was the truth.

"He's not, right? Teehee." He said, sticking his tongue out a bit and placing two fingers near his eyes like some anime girl. All in all, it was very weird.

"Disgusting." Tanya murmured.

"Ahh, my back aches for some reason. Is this guy gonna come any soon? Screw that, I'm gonna stretch for a bit." Zinbad was about to get up.

"Hey, wait!" Tanya tried stopping him.

But it was too late. His ass grazed one of the trashcans and it tumbled down, making a loud noise. "Oh, shit!" He could only say that as the fallen trash can caused a chain reaction of trash cans tumbling down with huge noise.
