Smiling at her occasionally, Ivan led her towards a big tree. It's leaves were green, luscious and shining under the sunlight with small white blossoms all over it. It looked beautiful.
While Amber's eyes were fixed on the magnificent tree standing high in front of them, Ivan's eyes were fixed on her.
Looking at him, Amber locked her eyes against his. Inching closer, she gently ran her fingers across his face longitudinally without breaking the gaze.
She was right, he did look different. His beautiful emerald eyes were now red in color, which made him look completely different.
As she was busy admiring his beautifully sculpted face, suddenly a gust of wind blew past them and within no time, the clear sky started turning dark.
As the dark clouds slowly enveloped the sky, the wind started growing stronger and before Amber could figure out what was happening, Ivan started walking farther and farther away from him.
She wanted to rush after him but the wind was too strong which forced her to squeeze her eyes shut . "Ivan—" she called him out, trying very hard to approach him.
Ivan on the other hand was also trying his best to go against the strong wind to be with her but he couldn't.
After struggling for a couple of minutes, she somehow managed to open her eyes to look at him but what she saw horrified and shook her soul.
A man dressed in a black cloak was approaching Ivan with a sharp golden sword in his hand.
Widening her eyes in shock, she tried to warn him but no matter how hard she tried to shout or call him out, she couldn't.
Just then, the mysterious man plunged the sword straight through Ivan's chest.
As blood ogled out of his mouth, tears rolled down Amber's cheeks and she stood there helplessly watching him die.

Amber jerked up from her sleep, panting and sweating profusely.
Touching her arms, she looked at her clothes only to realize she was wearing her regular sleepwear. She then looked around and to her relief, she was in her room.
Gulping in nervousness, she grabbed a bottle of water from the side table and gulped it down.
After calming herself down, she got down off the bed and entered the washroom to freshen up.
….
After taking a quick shower and changing her sleepwear, she did not stop feeling anxious. The strange dream which involved Ivan started making her feel uncomfortable and worried. No matter how hard she tried to shrug it off telling herself it was just a bad dream. But why did it feel so real?
For some odd reason, she was very worried for Ivan. The thought of whether he was okay or not made her even more anxious.
Picking up her phone, she looked up for his number and called him. But she immediately hung up the call when she saw the time. It was two in the morning, she didn't want to disturb him.
