Chapter 23

After dinner, Axel's father found his son entered his son's old room. He also felt suspicious and tried to approach Axel to find out what his son was doing in the room. Slightly surprised to see the scene in the room, Axel's father asked in a somewhat angry tone.

"Did you forget that you already have a wife?!" said Axel's father.

Axel, who had just been lying on the bed in his old room, immediately stood up and saluted his father. He did not expect if his father saw him enter this room and approached him.

"I just need some time alone," Axel replied.

"You've grown up and become a king, aren't you ashamed of the wild animals that always return to the nest where their family is?"

Axel couldn't answer anything when his father had been talking a lot. He could only look down silently; if there were anything else he said to his father, then the problem with Charlotte would also be known by his father. Finally, Axel came out of the room and returned to his room.

Axel's father also confirmed that Axel entered his room with his wife. After that, he returned to his room to rest the night.

Axel, who entered the room, saw Charlotte lying down. He ignored his wife and returned to his bed, which was beside his wife's bed. Axel didn't want any more conversation tonight.

However, Charlotte, who saw Axel return to her bed, tried to build a conversation to calm and melt her husband's heart.

"You're back?" Charlotte said in such a soft and calm tone of voice to get her husband's attention

"Don't think like that, I only came back because dad asked me to," Axel replied.

"It doesn't matter who told you to, the important thing is that you come back, and I'm glad to see you here." Charlotte tried to flatter her husband into wanting to talk to her, even though she knew how hard it was for Axel not to speak or act still.

Axel turned his back to his wife and closed his eyes; he didn't want Charlotte to think his heart had softened and returned willingly to this room. Axel didn't want to make his father sick again.

The face of the Florin Kingdom soldier came back; everything looked so real. The smile, the shape of the face, and the beautiful eyes make longing to be present just like that. The memory of the past touch makes Charlotte want to do it again.

When the longing and the feeling of touch combined, the warrior drew closer to the Queen of the Kingdom of Nirvana. Charlotte was happy to welcome the soldiers, enjoying the warmth of a dashing body not far behind her husband, Axel. Instantly Charlotte took the opportunity she would never get back, which was to express her desire.

"I missed you," Charlotte whispered.

"I am still yours, then, now, and forever. Come back to me again," replied the soldier.

The soldier's touch was still the same as before, making Charlotte drift even more. However, while he was enjoying the warrior's stout body, suddenly Anna appeared, saw Charlotte was with the soldier and took off her clothes.

"Anna, what are you doing?!" said Charlotte in surprise.

Anna kept walking, taking off her clothes one by one until there wasn't a single strand left on Charlotte's beautiful lady-in-waiting. She could only look at Anna with a shocked expression on her face while enjoying the touch of her past love.

The shock of Anna's attitude made Charlotte wake up from her beautiful dream. He took a deep breath to calm herself and her racing heart.

"It was all a dream." Charlotte did not expect Anna to be present in her dreams that night; she tried to go back to sleep.

However, that night, Charlotte wanted to feel that pleasure in the real world, but that was impossible. She also looked at her husband, who was sleeping, and wondered, should he return to being aggressive in this situation? No, Charlotte had already guessed what would happen; she was tired of being rejected repeatedly by her husband.

To divert her thoughts and desires, Charlotte finally decided to continue knitting, which had not been completed for a long time. She didn't want to get carried away in a wish that couldn't come true. She must be more self-aware of her current situation; she also doesn't know whether to feel lucky or unlucky with this marriage and become Queen of the Kingdom of Nirvana.

The sound of two men discussing in whispers was heard by Axel, who was looking around him. He was confused by his sudden presence in a village that looked so shabby. Axel tries to find out where he is right now without raising any suspicions.

The conversation that the two men were having was disturbing Axel. Is this still in his kingdom? Axel really couldn't recognize this environment at all. He also ventured to appear and ask the people who Axel assumed were residents.

"Sorry, I'm lost, can you guys help me?" asked Axel.

Surprised, the two of them tried to avoid Axel. "W-who are you?"

"Is this still in the Nirvana Kingdom?" Axel asked again.

Without answering, the two of them left, running, leaving Axel alone. Axel, who was trying to hold them back, couldn't do anything. As a result, Axel went around the village alone.

The village that Axel came to was a village very close to the wilderness. He prefers to enter the forest so that he no longer meets people around who might harm him. Axel hopes that a reasonable person in the woods can help him find out where he is.

"Where exactly is this?" Axel continued to wonder.

With all the defenses he had learned when he was the leader of the war soldiers, Axel believed that there was a way behind this forest. He continued to walk north, even though he knew there would be dangers in the way. His resignation made Axel unable to think clearly and do much.

Axel also made a stick from a long wooden branch to help him walk as a weapon. Not a single creature he encountered as far as he walked into the forest. However, Axel was still wary, and he didn't want to be careless in a place he had never been to before.

"Is this forest uninhabited? There were no wild animals in sight," said Axel.

Not long after that question was said, a giant snake appeared in front of Axel. Axel, who was shocked, fell and tried to avoid the snake.
