So... How does it feel?

Mohammed looks at the skeleton in pure confusion. "Man, I really have no idea why I'm even here."

The skeleton struggles to find a proper response. "Alright, first of all, my name is Gblimsequa. Whatchya names?"

Now getting a proper look at the skeleton, they see it's around 7 and a half feet tall and its more creepy features. It has shoulders that protrude out of normal length and greaves that point out sharply. It's completely see-through through the gaps of its bones. All of these things: bone white.

"I'm Mohammed and this is Jake."

Jake sticks out his hand to shake, but the skeleton bends down and instead inspects his hand in interest.

"Oh! Isn't this that little greetin' humans do?" Gblimsequa looks at Mohammed expectedly. Seeing him nod, it excitedly shakes hands with him. "Yea g'day g'day g'day."

Mohammed notices something and asks, "Wait. How are you talking to us? You really know how to speak English… I mean Australian?"

Jake nudges Mohammed with his elbow. "It's magic, you idiot."

The skeleton smiles. "Yea, magic."

Seeing that they really didn't have any understanding, it patiently answered the questions they threw at it, while it stood by the desk with crossed bone arms.

After the one-sided questioning, Mohammed grows a bright smile and yells, "I can get superpowers!"

Jake nods and starts pondering.

'First of all, the way the skeleton spoke and understood English was through an automatic translation that the skeleton has in his body? The reason it translated into Australian was because it was similar to his own accent? Got it, so he doesn't actually know English and of course can't teach us grammar and stuff.

The Gin boost he talked about was a boost he sells to "Gin", a "spiritual power" sort of thing. Then, when he said 'spiritual power' Mohammed asked if we were "Gin" bodies in that case. He said yes. So, we also feel more pain and recover faster in this form. He basically confirmed that we are physically dead, if the zombies didn't already confirm that.

'Gblimsequa also was highly suspicious on why we didn't have this knowledge already, so we asked about it. Turns out, this place we're in is a sort of "training grounds" where people grow stronger by killing undead creatures. If that's the case, then why did we go here if we just died?'

And so, he asked.

"Hey, if we just died, then why would we go on these training grounds? This is kinda harsh for kids like us after all." He looks at the sweating Mohammed and his blood stained cloth.

The skeleton nods and pokes at its ribs. "Ah well, if ya carked it then you… wait, ya mean "just" as in— immediately afder ya carked it, ya came here?"

Mohammed furrows his brows along with Jake and they look at each other. Mohammed cautiously says, "Erm, yeah. Why?"

Jake opened his mouth to correct him, but closed it before he said anything he thought might affect him.

'That thing with the see through guy in that black room definitely was not normal.'

At least, he thought so.

"You ahah all V.I.P in that case! come on ovah heah." Gblimsequa points towards the reception desk. "The next purchase is on the house." The skeleton goes through procedures excitedly. "Stick out ya palm."

Jake reaches out his hand before the skeleton pauses and sizes up Mohammed and Jake before he says, "I fawrgot: this is ya first time." He sighs, then continues. "Alright, come with me."

Gblimsequa touches something below his desk and then gestures for the two to follow. Mohammed, who was dazed by the rapid escalation of events, quickly snaps back and follows behind Jake.

Soon they reach a far corner of the huge white room and are next to the red barrier with characters on it.

The skeleton pulls out something from the forbidden part of his body and quickly does some strange movements with his arm and the characters slowly fade away and a double door slowly comes into existence in front of the barrier.

The skeleton looks back to check on the kids before pushing out with his palms.

In front of the entrance was a relatively small room of 40 square feet (relative to the massive waiting room they've been in).

Mohammed wonders what they'd do before he shouts, "An elevator!"

The skeleton nods and steps in while Jake only stares inside and starts tearing up.

He also shouts, "An elevator!"

The skeleton starts moving its arm in a strange manner again before quickly stepping to an opposite corner of the two weird children. The doors then slowly close in front of them.

Jake leans against the wall and folds his hands behind his head. "Ahh. This is the high life." He smiles in satisfaction.

Mohammed is extremely satisfied as well. Another walk up isn't something he can't handle, but it definitely isn't something he'd enjoy doing. He sits down carefully and makes sure there's less stress on his injured leg. "Mmph."

Gblimsequa, seeing this, says, "Mohammed, right? Yer, we can fix that afder we come back down if ya want ta. Our services include a complete recovery service. You'd liyke one, yer?"

Mohammed aggressively nods, seeing hope for the future.

"Great!"

Soon after, the doors automatically opened and the large dome area with houses in it came into full view.

Mohammed exclaims, "Woah!"

"We were just here a moment ago Mo…"

"It looks cooler when we see it this way though!"

Somewhat agreeing, Jake walks out and to their location, the staircase. Jake assists Mohammed and looks back. The elevator was completely standing out in the place with only cobblestone. He then turns forward and watches the huge skeleton clanking with each step. He watches as each breeze blows through its bones and directly to himself. He occasionally sees zombies through some windows and how they just leave their mouths hanging while only shaking their jaw.

'This, again, really is a different place I'm in. Whether this is the same world is unknown, but… Wait, the skeleton is right here. I'll just ask!'

His eyes brighten and mouth opens, but he quickly closes it as they're already at their location. To him, getting this over with to let Mohammed get treated was much more of an important matter.

'I-I'll ask after.' He silently swore in his heart.

Now back at the staircase, Gblimsequa turns and stops in front of Jake and Mohammed. His flaming green eyes sweep past Jake and Mohammed and their short stature.

"So ya both av seen that screen right there before, yer?"

Jake and Mohammed give a small nod each.

Gblimsequa gestures for the two to come closer to The Screen. "We call this bloody thing 'The Screen' 'n wat ya didn't know is that yah first little meetin' with the bloody screen would normally be through this." He raps against it and then chuckles.

Jake straightens his back as though sensing something. "Through what? What are we doing?"

Gblimsequa smiles. Instead of answering, he taps the screen a few times and then says, "Who's goin' first?"

Without consulting Mohammed, Jake steps up, feeling a sort of responsibility to check the procedure.

"Alright stick out ya palm." Gblimsequa shows an example of how to go about that. He lifts up his arm, perpendicular to his body and puts his palm parallel to the screen. "Ya right arm." He rephrased.

Doing all of this, the skeleton nods at Jake and taps the screen once more.

Jake narrows his eyes and his expression freezes. A foreign object enters his body and his skin releases sweat, his body temperature rises, and eventually Jake faints. Beads of sweat drip from every part of his body and his clothes stick to his skin making the clothes visibly soaked.

"Yo Jake!" Mohammed worriedly yells. He drops down and tugs at Jake's soaked blue tshirt, ignoring the disgusting squishing sounds. Jake shows no reaction as a result of constant shoving, tugging, and hitting. Mohammed looks up to the skeleton.

The skeleton slowly falls to one knee besides Mohammed and places his bone fingers on Mohammed's shoulder. "H-he.." He sighs and looks on ahead as if looking for a path of hope. "He's gone, mate."

Mohammed's pupils contract before he mutters, "No no no no. This can't be-"

Gblimsequa nudges his shoulder. "I'm just messin' with ya, mate. Ha. See?" The skeleton double taps Jake's forehead and a barely visible red wave flows out from the tapped location to rapidly disappear before its "eyes". Then the skeleton sits down on the floor, cross-crossing its legs.

Mohammed wipes his eyes and watches Jake, a little angry.

Jake's eyes slowly open. As his eyelids peel open, his vision is covered by complete blur, an effect of his own tears. To his surprise, he feels a slight chill flowing through his body, yet it feels like one of the most natural things to him. It was as natural as feeling his own heartbeat. It belongs there, doesn't it?

'Wait no, that's not normal.'

Amidst his focus on his body, a kid yells at him.

"JAAAKE!"

He rubs a temple with a palm while supporting himself up with his other. "Shut up...ugh" Jake mumbles and looks up at Mohammed with squinted eyes.

Mohammed doesn't give him a chance to relax and shakes Jake constantly with his hands on Jake's shoulders.

"I'm awake. I'm awake!" Jake pushes off the hands weakly.

Mohammed glares at Gblimsequa, then looks back at Jake.

'Woah, such attitude!' Gblimsequa scratches his skull.

"You good? What'd it do to you? What'd it feel like?" Mohammed barrages Jake with a string of questions.

"Yeah I'm fine. Bro…" he pauses, thinking about how he'd word the following sentences. "That sh*t was CRAZY! I'm telling you, at first you'd…" Jake suddenly stops and stares at Mohammed unfocused, but mouth agape.

Mohammed, disturbed by Jake's strange gaze, furrows his brows.

"Man... uh.. you sure you goo-"

Jake excitedly interrupts Mohammed and points at Mohammed's legs. "You see this, right? You see this? You see this, right!?"

Mohammed turns to Gblimsequa for help. The skeleton, in turn, chuckles and reaches out to Jake. He points at a similar location Jake did.

"This, right?"

Jake nods half in curiosity and half in happiness that he isn't insane.

"That right theah is The System. With this, ya can av access ta the bloody many things that our organization offers. Its main purpose is ta be medium through which individuals can gather infawrmation 'n necessities from an outside source. The Screen was an earlier version of it 'n it was also called The System at one point, but the bloody release of this System brought-"

Mohammed interrupts, "Woah woah we don't need a whole lesson here. So, what? It's a shop in your eyes/head, or whatever?"

The skeleton restrains itself from a full description. "A-a shop yes, but only visible ta ya."

Even though he questioned it, Mohammed still ignores the skeleton. "So Jake, how did it feel?"

"Oh yeah! Again, that shi*t was CRAZY! So-so erm… So from my palm, right, there's this sort of wave and it pulsated through my entire body! I felt really dizzy after like, i don't know; three pulses? And it was really cold, but at the same time it felt really good and relaxing like how a hot shower is hot at first, but feels so relaxing after. Yeah, like that, but cold."

Gblimsequa chimes in, "Wonderful description, mate."

Mohammed ignores the skeleton. "So its not that bad, right?"

Jake purses his lips and nods unattentively. "Yeah."

In the background of Jake's focus, he hears Mohammed saying, "Skeleton give me what he got." and the skeleton complaining.

In front of Jake, a virtual confetti pop appears on a translucent and flat blue screen in front of him.

[Welcome Regressor!]

Jake faintly hears cheering sounds coming from the screen.
