Chapter 26: A deal struck & Savior & Dormammu

"Why? And you better have a good reason." Lady Death think for a few minutes and eventually says, "Two reasons really. First, you're extremely powerful and that's the only qualification that I have for a mate. Second, I don't know what love is so I'd like to find out on my own. I know you have two wives already, but I just want to have some reason to keep doing what I do. It's been quite boring being stuck alone for a long time so I need something to keep me happy and entertained, not that I'll try to order you around or anything." That actually surprises me a bit and I reply, "How about this, when the first soul of either a friend or family comes to me, I'll take you on a date. If we have some chemistry at that time, I'll heavily consider your proposal, deal?" A smile forms on her face, and I can see that she has no ill-intent hidden there. "Deal. Thank you Lucifer." Giving her a smile of my own I say, "By the way, there are a few things that I'd like to discuss with you before we leave." She gives me a nod so I snap my fingers and make a table and three chairs.

"First off, I'll be saving your avatar in the Marvel world, her name is Hela and she's an Asgardian. Secondly, I'll be going to the Harry Potter world for a bit soon and I'll get the deathly hallows together. I'll either give them to someone that I can trust or keep them myself. It is said that when all three are brought together, that person becomes the master of death. This can be taken multiple ways but the two that stand out are either to be immortal and never die, or to become your master. Obviously no one person can hold that power in that world, so I'll either make the person of my choosing be worthy or I'll keep them like I said. That's all really, but your avatar will take a bit to convince when I try to stop her chaotic return. Would you like to meet her after she's free?" Lady Death gives a nod and says, "Yes please. I couldn't speak directly to her at all times because of what I do but I did give hints to her power and how to control it." Giving her a nod I say, "Makes sense, she is powerful after all, well for an Asgardian, hehe." After some more small talk, which wasn't bad actually, Kate and I left for home.

Kate then asks, "What do we do now?" Sitting down on the couch I say, "I'm waiting for Dr. Strange to continue his journey for now. Why don't you go hang out with Nat and Rose for now? Get some girl talk in, hehe." Giving me a smirk she says, "Sounds good, I needed to talk to them nyways. See you soon." In a very seductive way, Kate shakes her ass and then leaves to visit Nat and Rose. I can practically see the grin on her face. *sigh* " That woman will be the death of me." From behind me I hear, "I don't think she will actually, in fact nothing will be the death of you." Standing up to greet my visitor I say, "It's good to see you again, Ancient One." She gives a nod but I see her struggling to hold something back. Walking up to her, I see her tense a bit but as I hug her see melts in my embrace. "You can't hide anything from me, if you want a hug, just do it, hehe." She smiles and lets go as we both sit down.

"So, not that its not good to see you but what can I do for you?" Almost instantly she asks, "How will you save me? I see that I fall inside another dimension and hit the ground hard enough to kill me within minutes." Giving her a slow nod and a smile I say, "Simple, I'll catch you in a dramatic fashion. And when it's all over, Strange will take your place so you can be truly free." With a confused look she asks, "But how will Strange go about finishing his fight with Dormammu if I'm alive and he see's me?" Giving a smirk I say, "Again simple, I'll conjure up and exact copy of your body and give them the illusion of your fall and then you can replicate talking with Strange in your astral form. Thus, the timeline will not change too much from certain events." She smiles once again, which is quite nice actually, and says, "Thank you again for this opportunity Lucifer, If you ever need anything please let me know." We both stand up and she gives me a hug this time, which I really can't get used to this kind of Ancient One but oh well, and as she's leaving I say, "And should you need anything as well, please just pray to me and I'll show up. See you soon." One last nod and she's gone.

A few days later and It's time for the fight between Strange and Kaecilius where the Ancient One is supposed to die. Strange stops Kaecilius from his dark dimension attack and they enter the mirror dimension but Kaecilius still folds the space. Sending the Ancient One a mental message saying, "You will have the dark dimension symbol on your head, although it's not real, to make events keep on course. Also, you won't die from the stab, trust me." Receiving a "Thank you.", I continue to watch as she fights Kaecilius now. Eventually being stabbed and kicked through a portal, Strange and Mordo follow her to save her. This is where I come in. As she's about to hit the ground, I fly in and catch her while simultaneously making her fake body giving everyone present the illusion that it's her real body. With my wings and Halo out, as no one can see me right now, I swoop in and catch her while healing the stab wound. "Hello there." She gives me a smile and I teleport back to my house with her.

"You may want to send your astral projection to the hospital so you can talk to Strange. I'll be here so don't worry." She gives me a smile and a nod and lays down on the couch to send her astral form tot the hospital. Not sure if it had a range before but she doesn't have one now. She gives the same conversation as so many times before in her visions of the future but as she would have disappeared, she simply shot back to her body faster than Strange realized. That is when I stopped pumping the fake body's heart to simulate her death. Genius right? Hehe. As she enters her body, she gives me one more hug and asks, "Where can I go now? I've never had this freedom before." Letting go of the hug and gesturing for her to sit down I say, "You can stay here for a while until you find your own path, I don't mind. My wives are enjoying some relaxation so it's just me here. I'll need to go help Strange now but feel free to make yourself at home." Giving me another, "Thank you." I teleport near Strange as he has his moment with Christine.

"Touching, really." They both flinch and Strange conjures his weapons. "Hold up there cowboy. I come in peace, literally. Also, don't do that to Christine. You two clearly have a thing going on and you're not as much of an arrogant dick as before so you'll work out even with you being in charge of the sorcerers." Strange gives it some thought and Christine has a blush as Strange says, "You do have a point, I just didn't want her to die from the problems that I'll face." Giving him a nod I say, "You have my word that should anyone or anything with ill-intent come near Christine, I'll personally deal with them." Strange then says, "Thank you, but who are you?" Giving a chuckle I say, "My name is Lucifer Morningstar, one of the Avengers although I delete my face from the footage of the fights. It's a pleasure to meet you Dr. Strange." I hold out my hand and he shakes it and says, "And what can you do? Magic, technology, or some kind of alien?" Still chuckling I say, "Haha, no, none of the above really. I'm an Archangel and a god."

It takes them both a few minutes to process what I just said but Strange comes out of his stupor first and asks, "Can you prove it? I haven't really kept up with the Avengers as I had a lot of work then." Giving him a nod, I take out Yamato for dramatic effect and make a rift and say, "Please follow me." They seem hesitant but they both follow me inside. Coming out of it, we're in my house and the Ancient One is sitting there with a smile. Strange practically yells out, "HOW!?" The Ancient One and I both laugh at that and I answer, "That was all me, did you like the fake body?" Strange still looks confused but Christine looks like she'll faint any second. The Ancient One then says, "Dr. Strange, I made a deal with Lucifer to be free from being the Supreme Sorceress and to pass that onto you. As it was my time to die, I figured it was always meant to be until he showed up. Now, I can live in peace and freedom but should you need any assistance, I'll be more than ready to help. You will do fine on your own but right now you have Dormammu to deal with." Strange takes it all in and says, "Fine, you said no one is ever ready so lets get on with it."

As Strange makes a portal back to the hospital to drop off Christine I say, "I'll meet you there. Just need to do something quick." He gives me a nod and they go through his portal. Turning to the Ancient one I say, "Well done, he certainly got the message that you're done with all of that. Now, as I've said, feel free to live here for now as there are some guest rooms. Food is in the fridge and take any car you want if you don't use a portal. Just so you know, I'll be killing Dormammu as he'll likely look for an alternative to take earth. See you soon." I take out Yamato and make a portal to the site where Dormammu will try to come through.

Strange still tells Mordo that the Ancient One died and their little conversation ends with them assisting Wong against Kaecilius. Eventually we get to Kaecilius's line of "Isn't it beautiful?" and I fly in with my wings and halo out and say, "No, it really isn't. Hello Strange, sorry I'm late but lets go meet Dormammu." He nods and we fly up into the dark dimension. Before we meet Dormammu I tell Strange, "You won't need the time loop, and yes I know of it. I'll deal with Dormammu so relax. Oh, but still give the line of, "Dormammu, I've come to bargain.", I'll take it form there, hehe" He looks unsure but still gives a small nod. From out of nowhere, A mass of void with two eyes come up to us and Strange gives his line of, "Dormammu, I've come to bargain." To which Dormammu says, "You've come to die." I can't hold it anymore and break down laughing, "HAHAHAHAHA! You fool. You actually think you can take the earth? Let me teach you some manners."

Before Dormammu can even say anything more, I make a small light orb and fling it at him faster than he can see and it takes out one of his eyes as he screams in pain, "AHHHHHH, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?" Giving him a smirk I say, "Now you know fear, but let me show you true pain and despair." Surrounding myself with some light divinity, Dormammu flinches and seems to back up a bit. I fly in front of his only eye and place my hand on it and say, "Hakai!"
