After spending some time collecting herself, Jess heaved a heavy sigh as she looked upon the group of people she categorized as "Brandon's friends" with a spiteful expression. Due to her emotional outburst earlier, the party was partially aware of the history between herself and Brandon. Thus they elected to stay away from the topic as they tried to recruit the young woman to their side. However, that was a task that was easier said than done.


After a lengthy discussion about their findings and how they believed Jess was the best fit for the job, they could still convince the woman. After all, her hatred for Brandon was on another scale; as long as he was a member of their party, there would be no business between them.


After leaving the shop with their spirits in depression, the party reconvened to come up with a new plan. Cassie was the first to express her dissatisfaction with the situation.
