What happens when fantasy meets reality? Alex, a college student and regional MMA fighter, witnesses civilization's death as a fantastical apocalypse befalls the Earth. With a lack of electricity and a rapidly changing world, humans find themselves relying on a mysterious RPG-like system to combat the various monsters who have found themselves vying for supremacy with the native humans over this Fractured World.

It was quite the coincidence that two Chemists had appeared in B-Gate at roughly the same time. What Ivan said was true, he was in fact a chemist at a notable pharmaceutical company. However, for the sake of his plan, he left out the fact that he was currently working alongside Jess in pursuing the path of Alchemy in this new world. 


As a scientist, he was incapable of denying reality, and the reality that humanity currently faced was that virtually everything about this world had become unrecognizable. Magic and monsters ruled this new Earth and science was a thing of the past. The number of rapid changes this world was going through was unexplainable by humanity's current knowledge, and he refused to be left behind.
