What happens when fantasy meets reality? Alex, a college student and regional MMA fighter, witnesses civilization's death as a fantastical apocalypse befalls the Earth. With a lack of electricity and a rapidly changing world, humans find themselves relying on a mysterious RPG-like system to combat the various monsters who have found themselves vying for supremacy with the native humans over this Fractured World.

While Cassie made a list of potential candidates to enlist in their aid, Alex stood behind the makeshift wall; they were tasked with protecting the Southwest entrance, the same entrance they had come through to get within the confines of the settlement.


The walls were not exceptionally tall, nor were they sturdy like the walls of an ancient castle. They were the walls of a post-apocalyptic society that lacked any form of advanced construction equipment. The most sturdy portions of the walls surrounding the airport were made up of reinforced concrete blocks and were topped with barbed wire so that the monsters could not easily climb over.
