Keeping a Low Profile

When Alex finally awoke from his slumber, it was practically mid-day. Emily was hard at work forging new equipment for her never-ending line of customers. She had recently required a new material she had begun working with. Evidently, some rock croppings in the city's outskirts contained a new mineral, which could be combined with steel to create a superior version that was commonly referred to as "Black Steel". It was a type of metal that various monster groups in limited quantities already employed. Though it appeared as if they had not managed to forge the black steel themselves, which begged the question, who was supplying the monster army?
