Mark of the Brotherhood

Alex rose from the steps onto the platform above, where he was forced to face a naga who was significantly bigger than the others his fellow initiates had fought. He did not doubt that this was an opponent especially picked for him as he had felt the wrath of Asrati and his whip over the last few weeks of training. As such, he steeled himself as he stepped onto the combat area of the platform. 

The narrow walkway was just enough for one person to fit on either side of the platform. As such, it forced the two opponents to either move forward or backward; there was no ability to kite around your opponent, only if one had an insane amount of dexterity like Danny could they jump around their opponent. Though Alex had a high amount of dexterity, he refused to take such a nuanced approach to the battle and sought to overwhelm his opponent with the sheer force of will.
