With a lack of electricity and a rapidly changing world, humans find themselves relying on a mysterious RPG-like system to combat the various monsters who have found themselves vying for supremacy with the native humans over this Fractured World.

When Alex finally awoke, he was surrounded by Naga medics, who looked at him with shock; they thought for sure the boy had died just a few moments prior, yet in the very next second, he had opened his eyes and sat up from the table and began clutching his head. They could not figure out what had transpired to the blonde-haired youth. After coming to his senses, Alex noticed the flabbergasted expressions on the faces of those nearby, which prompted him to inquire about his whereabouts.

Asrati, who was nearby, looked at Alex with a sense of disgust on his face, here he thought he was lucky enough to get rid of the little punk, but the boy was alive in the next second. He could not help but voice his grievances.

"We thought you were dead; you collapsed in your cell and were suffering from a seizure; by the time we got you to this facility, your heart had already stopped beating."
