After returning to the Ludus, Alex noticed that a few dozen more people had earned the mark of the brotherhood. Among them was the purple-haired woman who had been intensely focused on learning Alex's tactics over the last few weeks. She smiled as she saw Alex return alive and approached him to show off her brand, signifying that she was now a gladiator fit for the arena. Though she did not have the gladiator class, she was what the monsters would refer to as a gladiator; the distinction was lost on humans as aside from Alex, nobody had reached level 20 yet; as such, nobody was aware of what the veteran classes were.

The woman smiled as she showed off her brand to Alex

"Thanks to you, I passed my test with ease!"
