Aftereffects of the Blast

Alex gazed down from the sky onto the destruction below. While he was pretty irritated that he was lied to about the effects of the bomb, he was more concerned with the massive loss of life that had occurred; because he was a Nephilim, he was no longer human and bound by the restriction of intra-species killing.

As such, he gained a significant experience boost from accidentally blowing up the city block. Hundreds of lives were lost, and Alex somehow benefitted from it. However, now was not the time to celebrate such a crazy feat.

Instead, he flew out of sight in the sky above before landing in the corner of the Row, which was sparsely populated; after checking his surroundings to see if he was witnessed, Alex pulled his hood over his head before he slowly walked back to the Silver Legacy Casino, where hopefully Queen was alive and could answer his many questions of this supposed simple sabotage run.
