Act 5: Rumble In The Dungeon
Veronica Dashed towards the Stone Talus.
Shing!
Veronica swung her blades, making a minor scratch on the stone.
"Damn!" Veronica flipped and swung her blades again.
"Kyah!" Veronica shouted.
Sparks flew in the air as the daggers sliced the stone. Still just a minor scratch. Veronica did a few flips backwards.
"Dark spear!" A spear made up of shadows formed in Veronica's hands. Veronica threw the spear with a fwwsh!
BOOM! One of the rocks surrounding the talus's core blew up.
"Should have just started with that," Veronica said to herself.
The stone talus roared in anger and jolted boulders at Veronica.
Veronica lunged in between each boulder and threw another dark spear.
"Ripple!" Veronica shouted as the spear split into a dozen smaller spears.
Pew, pew, pew, pew, pew, pew, pew, pew...!

"Nice!" Veronica said eagerly.
The stone Talus swung a boulder at Veronica. She jumped on top of the boulder and leapt into the air. Veronica was now over the Stone Talus.
"Dark Spear, Ripple!" Veronica shot a bunch of mini spears at the core of the Talus from above.
Pew, pew, pew, pew, pew, pew, pew, pew...!

The Talus's core turned red in anger and pulled all the boulders close to him to cover his core.
The Stone Talus's hp started regenerating.
"Oh no, you don't!" Veronica fell on top of the Talus and smashed her daggers into the stone. Sparks flew in the air as Veronica stabbed the talus.
"Kaboom!" Veronica said as her daggers glowed red and caused an explosion. Pieces of rock flew into the air.

The Stone Talus launched itself at veronica while shooting rocks.
The little rocks were harder to parry and dodge rather than the boulders that it was shooting before. The little rocks were faster.
Veronica tried blocking the rocks, but they were too unpredictable and fast. They were so fast. In fact, Veronica could barely see them.
"Ouch, ouch, ouch... OUCH!" Veronica yelped.
The stone talus grew closer and formed an arm out of boulders, then swung a punch at Veronica. She ducked down, avoiding the punch as the arm smashed into the wall of the dungeon. Veronica sprinted towards the core of the Talus with a dark spear in her hand.
"There is no way I am going to lose this battle!" Veronica screamed and jumped into the air with the spear, ready to fire.
She threw the spear at the Talus but the Talus brought two boulders together, blocking the spear. The spear hit the rock, as so did Veronica.
"Uh oh!" Veronica said.
The spear exploded, which sent Veronica flying. Veronica hit the wall hard.
"Ohhh... My ribs... they're shattered." Veronica was still at plenty of hp, so she got up and cast a spell.
"Black Lagoon Technique: Black Yin Dragon!" A black goopy dragon formed out of the shadows around Veronica.
"Here we go, Yin!" Veronica shot the dragon at the Talus. The Dragon would hit the Talus then deflect off as Veronica then would shoot it again.
Bam, bam, bam, bam, bam, bam, bam, bam...!

The combo count was going up so fast it looked like it was skipping numbers. Each combo would increase the attack by one dp (damage points), so Veronica was trying to get as many combos as she could so she could do more damage.
"HAHAHAHAHA!!!" Veronica cackled as she kept shooting the dragon back and forth.
[220 hit combo]
"GGGGGRRRRRAAAAAAWWWW!" The Talus shouted as its core cracked.
Veronica jumped to the air and spun around as she shot the dragon straight at the core of the Talus.
BOOM!
The core of the Talus shattered into pieces. The glow of the Talus's core faded until it wasn't glowing anymore. The Yin Dragon went back into the shadows.

Veronica scrolled through the loot and her stat increase with joy.
"So, did we beat the dungeon?" Veronica asked herself.
Bding!
A scroll unravelled in front of Veronica.
{You Have Complete The Dungeon}
{Now you must exit!}
The dungeon rumbled.
The ceiling crumbled.
"Shoot, we have to go!" Veronica yelled to herself.
Veronica closed all of her tabs and snatched Elton off the ground.
"Gosh, I totally forgot about you, Elton!"
Chunks of the ceiling started falling. Veronica dodged the pieces and sprinted as fast as she could to find the dungeon entrance.
"How deep did we go?!" Veronica asked herself.
Crack!
"OUCH!" Veronica shouted.
"ah-h, I forgot about my broken ribs!"
"Aerial open, Developer Items"
Bding!
The green Developer Item tab appeared in front of Veronica.
"Aerial choose, Max Health Potion"
[How many would you like?]
"Two... Two, please!" Veronica said.
[I have added two Max Health Potions to your inventory]
Veronica leaped and lunged, trying not to get hit by the pieces of the ceiling, even if it hurt terribly.
"Aerial open Inventory! OUCH!"
[Opening Inventory...]
Bding!
The blue inventory tab appeared.
Veronica flipped Elton onto her shoulder and used her other hand that wasn't carrying Elton to grab a Max Health Potion out of her inventory. She flicked the cork off of the first one and chugged it.
"Bleh, taste like cherry medicine," Veronica said disgustedly as she wiped her mouth. She grabbed the other one out of her inventory. She popped the cork off this one and shoved it into Elton's mouth.

*Elton's point of view
I was drinking something. It tasted familiar, almost like... CHERRY MEDICINE! I gagged and coughed up the drink. I hate cherry medicine. Hell, I hate every medicine flavor. My eyes shot wide open. Veronica was carrying me in her arms. I blushed, then frantically jumped out of her arms.
"Ouch!" I shouted as my head hit the ground.
"C'mon, you need to drink this!" Veronica shouted at me.
"But it tastes like-" Veronica shoved the Potion back into my mouth.
"But it tastes like cherry medicine. Trust me, I know," Veronica said.
After being forced to drink the potion, I felt much better. In fact, I had no broken bones.
"Ok, can you stand up?" Veronica asked me.
I got up easily.
"Good, now I don't have to carry you out of the dungeon!" she said while sprinting away.
"Wait up!" I shouted. She didn't wait.
I looked around for a second then thought, "Where was the Stone Talus, why is the dungeon falling down on us, and did we complete the dungeon?" So many questions.
Bam!
A piece crashed right next to me.
"eek!"
I ran as fast as I could to catch up to Veronica. Once I caught up to Veronica, I asked her, "Where is the Stone Talus, why is the dungeon falling down on us, and did we complete the dungeon?"
She glared at me then replied, "I beat it, it's falling because I think the Talus was holding this place together, and yes we did."
"Wait what!? You beat the Stone Talus?"
she nodded.
"The Level 100 one?" I asked.
"YES! I did ok! What's the big deal?"
"Well, I don't know, maybe it was just that... THE THING WAS HUGE AND MADE OF ROCKS AND ALL YOU HAD WERE SOME PUNY DAGGERS!" I shouted.
"Do not call my precious daggers puny!" She barked.
She looked very scary, so I said nothing else for the rest of the time. We eventually made it out of the dungeon, but the portal didn't disappear.
"Are there people in there still?" I asked.
"It's not like someone could have survived the Stone Talus because Aerial said that the Stone Talus is a very persistent creature and will not stop until everyone is dead. So we should have been the last people because it wasn't fighting anyone else." Veronica added on.
"Or was it..?" I said.
She slapped me. "You're so annoying," she announced.
We observed the portal, waiting for someone to come out of it.
Vwoosh!
A bloody hand reached through the portal.
"Help me..." a voice echoed from the portal.
"Wait a minute, I recognize that voice!"
"Help me, Veronica!" The familiar voice called out again.
Veronica reached for the hand and pulled him through the portal
A familiar figure flung out of the portal as it closed.
It was Daniel.
