We placed sticks and twigs in the center of the compound. We are to create a bonfire in the middle; it was effective the last time so it wouldn't be any different now. We gathered as much sticks and twigs that we can and placed it beside the bonfire as fuel. The goal is simple, get all the paper in all the basement doors, get Venus and Claire out then we can expand our scope accordingly. I'm pretty nervous to the next basement door. We have only entered three so far so there are still three more doors left.

The sun is nearing to set but it is still enough time to prepare. After the discussion, Johnny again assigned people to the next three basement door. 4th door is Jane, Wesley and Jefferson, 5th was supposed to be Me, Steph and Gregory but James keeps insisting to go with us even though he is heavily injured but he doesn't want to stay idle also so instead of Gregory its James and the last door will be ventured by Gregory, Troy and Johnny. It's really weird that Johnny is the one assigning the people but everyone doesn't seem to mind about it. It's just that I haven't seen Johnny take the role and responsibility of assigning people; it's usually Gregory doing that kind of stuff but Johnny… And it looks like he's into it too much. It looks like Johnny is influenced by Gregory a little considering they both hang out together a lot.

I dropped my sixth bundle of sticks and twigs as I heave a heavy sigh. Too tired, my body is not used to manual labor even though the labor is just picking up stick and twigs but still. As I try to catch my breath, a poke was felt on my shoulder. I turned around to see Gregory, Steph and Jasmine. They seem to have a concern that I am not aware off. Is something my fault? Is it my fault? I don't know.

"Dar. Can you come with us for a sec?" Gregory asked.

I followed the three of them without even being wary. I followed them with my mind flying in the clouds. We entered the house where Venus and Claire is stuck in and brought me in front of where the supposedly basement door is.

"Dar. This is where you saw the basement door here, right?" Gregory asked,

"Uhh… Yes? Why?" I said puzzled,

"We asked Jane who saw the basement door here and she said it was you. I also entered the basement door here too." Gregory said,

"Don't tell anyone but yesterday, we wanted to enter the basement door in the estate but it didn't show up. If you saw the door here and then Gregory entered the door here also then the door won't change location, wouldn't it?" Steph asked,

"As much as possible we don't want to cause any commotion as this is still just an assumption but the basement door in the estate didn't show up. Why didn't it show up?" Jasmine said in deep thought,

"What is this about the door not showing up?" A familiar and firm voice rang behind me.

Troy did serious strides as he approached us. His eyes are fierce, only to appease a little due to some strands of hair covering his eyes due to his usual bowl haircut.

I looked at Troy with disinterest but the other three looked at him with wide eyes of shock.

"T-Troy…" Gregory muttered,

"I asked 'what is this thing about the door not showing up'?!" With his voiced raise, he firmly repeats his question,

The four of us in silence, I stayed silent because I have no idea what is going on. My mind got disturbed with the sudden rise of Troy's voice.

"Why can't you guys share this to us? To me? Are you saying that we can't get Venus out of the basement?!" He angrily said,

"It is still not a guarantee, Troy. We just don't want to raise a commotion on something we are not entirely sure off." Gregory reasoned,

"Not entirely sure?! Then why did you guys brought Daryl here? Do you guys need something from Daryl? Like a confirmation?! Why is it that Daryl gets to know this before I can?!" He asked as I became flustered to what he said,

"Because Daryl was the first to open the basement door of this house. Daryl opened the door two days ago, yet you guys still entered it yesterday. Yet the basement door at the estate didn't show up yesterday? Yes. We entered it once but why didn't it show up again?' Jasmine firmly replied,

"But I didn't enter the basement door here…" I said,

"So if we enter the basement door once, it wouldn't show up again?" Steph asked,

"That doesn't make sense. How the hell did Daryl and James got out? Why hasn't Venus and Claire got out yet like how Daryl and James did?" Gregory asked,

"I don't believe in this bullshit! I'm gonna get Venus out of this place. If you want to do your bullshit things and don't want to help me. I recommend you get the hell out!" Troy said as he bumped on us on purpose,

"Fucking asshole." Jasmine muttered,

"What did you fucking say?!" Troy turned around and grabbed Jasmine's shirt,

"Get your fucking hands off me!" Jasmine swiped Troy's hand off her,

"I said you're a fucking asshole!" Jasmine exclaimed,

"You want a fight! Huh?! You! I had had it with your stupid and idiotic assumptions. You think you're smart but you're just a stupid cunt!" Troy exclaimed as he pushed Jasmine,

"You think I am afraid of you! If you want a fucking brawl, I will gladly give it to you! You keep blaming me when you never even did anything to help us nor have you even contributed anything, you piece of shit!" Jasmine pushed him back,

As they were about to aggressively approach each other, Gregory held Jasmine as Steph held Troy.

"Guys! Stop! We are not getting anywhere if we fight!" Gregory said,

Troy pushed aside Steph from his hold.

"If you guys doesn't want to help Venus out then I recommend you get the fucking hell out of here!" Troy exclaimed,

I looked at the brawl with a shocked and afraid visage. Due to my shock, my tears wouldn't hold back as it flows down my cheeks.

"Fuck! man up, Dar! Fucking pussies." Troy said as he walked away from us.

The three of them comforted me to calm down. I was always a very weak willed person that arguments between my friends end up on me crying instead. It's like a defense mechanism at this point.

We exited the house and went to the estate. Everyone heard the commotion as they approached us going to the estate.
