ch 10 Riding again
Awakening from his sleep, Jin-Woo looked around him, finding he was in a clearing with seventeen cabins already built and more were being built.
"How long was I out?" Jin-Woo asks Zero right beside him who bowed to him. "Three days my lord" Answered Zero with a small smile on his face. They have guarded him like a hawk not letting anything disturbed him.
Some beast tried to go near them but they all bean killed by the wolves who were always patrolling the surroundings. "Hmm, I was more exhausted than I thought," JIn-Woo said as he slowly getting up from Fenrirs fluffy shadow fur.
Jin-Woo took some meat out of his inventory and begone to eat it. He took out boar meat that has been cooked a few days ago. It was still hot as you may know placing items in his inventory stops time for the items or anything for that matter.
As he walks towards one of the cabins he inspected it and touch it. "It's durable," Jin-Woo said as he shook the cabin. "Of course my lord if it's not even properly made what kind of knights are we!" Zero said.
"Hmm" Nodding his head Jin-Wo walks inside the cabin to be greeted by the living room. "So this is the living room," He said looking at the decorative furniture that his shadow somewhat made using only wood.
There's a total of five rooms in total one for the living room, one for the bathroom, the other three for the actual room. There two wooden beds in each room making it suitable for 6 people to live in.
For cooking, it has to be done outside so no smoke can be trapped inside the cabin and also not to burned the cabin in the ground.
"It's very good," Jin-Woo said with satisfaction on his face as he moved out of the house and look around. "it's slowly becoming a kingdom but we still have a long way to go," Jin-Woo said with a sigh how much work it's going to take.
"That is what a king is my lord," Said zero behind him.
"Yes maybe you are right but first we better find our first inhabitants and I know who it's going to be... There's a race of goblins near the elven kingdom probable a few hours on Fenrir"
Jin-Woo said as he looks at the northwest of the forest. "Probable in that direction," Jin-Woo said remembering where the goblin was headed. "After we have recruited them they can help us farm"
But first Zero what have they been doing while I'm asleep?" He asks as he looks around him. The lush greenery and trees were now only left with a clearing of grass no trees by the rise of 500 meters.
"Yes my lord as you can see we have taken upon us to clear some trees for your kingdom to be built on. As we stack the logs over there" Zero pointed on a 15 meters tall stack of logs 30 meters wide.
"Also over there" Zero pointed again on the other side a little farther away but can still be seen. *Sigh* Jin-Woo sigh to himself. "Well that's fine we can build some farms a few meters below the stream so it doesn't affect the living conditions here then"
"almost what they did was made a clearing for the future?" He asks (A/N: Im thinking of Attack on titan kind of kingdom) "You are right my lord" Zero said with a smile.
'It's probable going to take us a few months just to use half the land or is it' Jin-Woo thought to himself but just shrug it off for the future as Zero said.
"Wait then what happened to the animals?" Jin-Woo said raising an eyebrow at Zero. "They have disgumbabilated my lord" Zero said. Deappanning at what Zero said. "What's the meaning of it?" Jin-Woo asks.
"We killed them, my lord. But we did make a giant pen for them well we let go of some and killed some hostile animals" Zero said with a smile.
"Ok, what kind of animal did you get" Ask Jin-Woo.
"We got some wild boars that it," Zero said again. Jin-Woo nods his head as he walks towards the pen. It took a few minutes to get there just by walking. There are exactly 10 wild boar 7 adults and 3 children (Baby wild boar).
There's some greenery for them to eat and a water container at the edge there's a small roof for them to take cover from. "Looks like they're enjoying themselves," Jin-Woo said as he looks at them.
"Is that all or is there more?" Ask Jin-Woo
"That's all my lord. Well maybe getting some better materials and tools from the elven kingdom you have said when we were on the dungeon" Zero said.
"Hmm before I go back to the level kingdom ill have to bring the goblins first"
Jin-Woo said to Zero before he looks back to his summons (A/N: let's just call them summons really confusing if I call them shadows, soldiers, or knights) "All of you will stay here and guard the place" Jin-woo said to his summons who nodded there head and started to continue with there work.
Jin-Woo then again looks back at Zero "Zero you will go back to my shadows can't call you if I need you" Jin-Woo said as Zero goes back to his shadows waiting for his call.
He looks at the northwest where the nearest goblin settlement would be. He saw the goblin headed that way as he was leaving the elven kingdom.
"I should have followed him before going away *Sigh* No time spoiled milk," Jin-Woo said as he hops on Fenrir's back. "Go buddy better hurry"
*WOO*
Wagging his tail Fenrir howled in the sky before running in all his four legs going 200 miles per hour. It a few minutes running they almost made it out of the clearing. Well, they are close to it.
"It would probably take us 12 to a day of the journey if we're going at this speed," Jin-Woo said as he holds on to Fenrirs shadow fur.
Jin-Woo once again looks back on his newly built small village. "After recruiting the goblins I could ask them to farm and help out building the kingdoms," He said with a small smile checking his stats. "Status"
