Ch 13 Goblin chief pov/ Trying out first person

I was a goblin I was born and raised as a goblin. I was the strongest and smartest of my tribe I'm the leader or the chief of them.

They look up to me as I am the most knowledgeable. I was in my own home well sort of we live inside the cave mostly hiding from the beast.

I told them not to leave 100 meters away from the cave so we can go and help some when a beast attack. But our treatment from the elves is worsening as most of us are now enslaved and made to work for them.

There was only a little bit of us left since our heyday of 10,000 strong to now 246 starving goblins but in this cave, there's only 98 of us left. Our race dwindled to such a state that a few years later all of us would be gone.

*Sigh* "It's hard but it's life," I said to myself as I hear a put step behind me. Turning around I saw my trusted aid. "What's the matter?" I ask a little bit tired of how much I have to work now.

He bowed his head to me before lifting it again. "Chief a person has brought a child back from the wound a little bit wounded but" My aid cut his sentence.

I raise my eyebrow. "Continue what you're saying," I said while a little worried about the small child every goblin count well except for the ones that were taken from us. Still left a small regret to me knowing what they are suffering.

"The child was brought by a human man chief," said my aid I was surprised by quickly got from my chair and hurriedly went outside.

As I kept on walking the more goblin I saw. When I was outside the cave I saw a man holding a child as he let her down to the ground before he looks around us.

HE stopes by me and smiled. I walk forward to meet him as he goes in front of me. I watch as the child goes back to his parent that was crying. She looks sick but the child brought out some plants.

I sigh seeing it as I meet the eyes of this man. I can see he was neutral but I still keep up my guard just in case. He felt strong and terrifying for some reason like walking in a grave that as cold as ice.

"What is a man like yourself doing here," I said a little polite to him.

"What is a man like yourself doing here," The goblin said to me. He looks like the chief of the tribe. I look at him for a second before replying to his question.

"I came here because I want your people to come and join me," I said to him he still looks cautious to me but who isn't for a person just barging in your home.

"What do you mean to come with you?" He asks me raising one of his eyebrows.

"I mean I am building a kingdom where all races could live in harmony and I want your people to be the first," I said to him as he looks to be foundering what I said to him.

"Hmm, then can you let me think?" He asks me looking at me in the eye. 'Very brave of him my lord' Siad zero mentally to me. 'Yes he is'

"You can if you want doesn't need to rush things'll come back after a day," I said before walking out of their sight and bringing Fenrir out of my shadows before hopping on its back. "Let's go, buddy," I said as Fenrir dash towards the nearest river.

When I watch the man leave our home I look back at the child and walk towards her. I saw the child-mother holding her tightly.

When I was near them look at the child and ask. "Did that man do this to you?" I ask the child looking at her small wound.

She shook her head in denial. I once again raise my eyebrows. "Then who did it and why did he bring you here," I ask once again.

The child was shy but still answered my question. "He helps me get out a trap and patch the wound on my feet he also gave me food," She said cutely.

"Right thank you, child" I look at the mother of the child who was still sick I nod my head before walking towards my home and went inside.

I sat down on the floor as I saw my aid walk towards me. "So Chief will you accept his offer?" He asks me not knowing what I was thinking. *Sigh* "Im not sure will talk to that tomorrow go back," I said to him as he nods his head and left.

I was thinking to myself it's a nice offer but we still can't trust him. He may bring us harm. *Sigh* I sigh again not thinking anymore and just slept for the day and ill handle it by tomorrow morning.

I slowly open my eyes to hear a scream. I quickly opened my eyes and headed outside. I saw my fellow goblins running to the entrance with a weapon in hand.

'On no is it that man?' I thought as I hurriedly took out my worn-out spear and dash towards the entrance. Slowly coming towards the entrance I saw people coming back with bloodied bodies.

I saw one running ahead of me. "Hey what happened," I ask him as he looks back. "Cheif," He said bowing. "There's a beast attacking us" He explained to me what was happening.

"Hmm" I nodded my head as I made it to the entrance to be met with a Ghiraro it is a giant beast standing 5 meters tall and 8 meters wide it has thought skin and a horn on its forehead using it to kill its prey.

I look at the beast that was slowly harming my fellow goblins In a rage I jump in that air holding the spear close to me. When I was falling down I brought my spear pointed at the beast.

"DIE YOU BEAST!" I scream in my lungs as I piers its strong skin but it was only a light wound on its body. It enrages the beast making it throw me off its back.

I hit a rock while I was thrown. I look up to see the beast still rampaging everywhere already killing 6 of us bringing our number down to 93. I gritted my teeth but saw the same small girl walking towards the beat.

"Stop little child," I said slightly my voice a little distorted of how much pain I was feeling. She didn't hear me. I look around to see no one stopping her or no one had seen her except for me. I tried to get up but my body won't allow it.

I look up to see the child covered in darkness before the same man appeared yesterday appear right behind her. The man took a sword out of nowhere and started to dash towards the beast.
