With that, the general's face dropped. He heard his men were yelling. "BOSS!" "General!"
His sight was black. Flora just raised her arm, and she takes out her ten strands of thick hair needle that is small and long, about 2.5-inch length, and pierce through his neck down to his connecting spine and through his artery vessel. Then, with a huge force from her hand, the needle immediately just disappeared in his neck.
She then just twists his neck. Everything happens in a blink of an eye. Everybody just got caught unexpectedly. The men who are watching the whole scene were yelling at their boss. But it was too late. The general is now lying lifeless on the ground. Not even a single blood had been shed. It was a clean kill. Art for Flora. Disaster in their eyes.
One guy pulls out his gun immediately and shoots at her. Flora did something unexpected again. The superpower for others but a curse for her. A gift of speed. She caught the bullet. And throwing a show for them as she dropped it on the floor.
Then she pulls out a gun under her sleeves and shoots back at them.
Now she's deadly. She was too quick; they can't even see it happen. With the last man to remain standing, shaking, shredding his tears, and begging for his life to be spared, Flora just told him she would if he treats his loves one better. His eyes widen.
Men. That what she knows. In this society, their wives suffered the most.
She took out a bullet from his gun, and she pushes the bullet on his injured knees. He screamed and tried to force his grip on her neck, but she kicked the man's face back on the ground. Then, she inserted the bullet inside his knees joints slowly.
The man screamed out to his heart content.
Flora could even hear the cracking sound of his bone.
"Shhhhhhhh shhh, it's going to be okay." She says, trying to calm the man down. But damn, the man screams better than others.
After the bullet is in, the man lay still on the ground. Tired. She didn't care about his exhaustion. Besides, the bullet was now in his knees. But the man isn't dead yet. He was sure that he won't be alive anytime soon. Then Flora just took out another bullet and put on his clean neck. She repeats her action. Breaking his flesh with the bullet. The man just asks her his one last question with a cranky sound, and he did get his answer. A truthful answer.
"Wha... t's y…ou... r fu*king n…. ame?"
She smiled at him. "Flora. The Flower."
And just that, all the men lost their lives to a girl who wore pajamas. Flora sighed. She did leave her signature—a flower sign drawn with the blood of dead men on the cement floor.
She walked to Stephanie, who was still tied down on the chair. Steph looks kind of weak, and she's pretty sure the girl passed out.
Flora untied her. And Flora patted her to wake her up again. Stephanie slowly opened her eyes, and it fluttered a bit.
Then a sudden outburst at the entrance makes Flora stopped her action. She looked up. A group of men was holding out guns, ready for an open fire. Flora was about to use another of her needle, but the leader of the group spoke.
"Let Stephanie go."
Flora didn't say anything. Instead, she continued to untie her.
Steph was bewildered by the whole situation. The man didn't say anything. He looked around. He saw more than 30 men lying dead on the ground. Bullet shells are everywhere. And a red flower was drawn on the ground.
He understood immediately. He put down his guns and told his men to do the same. The men all looked at him and obeyed.
The leader then asked. "Who are you?"
Flora didn't answer. She focused her attention on Steph.
Steph, just ask one question. "Why?"
Flora smiled. "Your dad called me. … and I'm sorry for your loss. They had it easy that I let them go quickly. So many women had suffered from their hands. Tortured and scared. Even their own wife or, should I say, wives…."
She looked and Steph again and said, "You're ready to go. Your men will keep you safe." Then, she walked past the group.
The leader just asked. "Are you Flora Flower?"
Flora was about to walk out, but she stopped. She turned to the man.
She smiled. "Yes"
Steph, weak and with high mental fragility, just stood there and watched the whole scene. She didn't even bother to utter a single word. Or more like a cat got her tongue.
Flora Flower? That's her! Seriously? – Steph thought.
"I see, so you're Flora." He confirmed and gave a slight bow.
Flora slightly bows back. Suddenly one of the guys at the very back was about to raise his guns; Flora quickly taps her left foot against the ground. Then there stood a knife, a sharp one pointing out. It slithered out from the shoe she's wearing. " Don't even try," Flora warns and narrows her eyes at him.
The man immediately let go and stop his breathing. Nathan was flustered and turn his head to glare at his men.
Nathan gulped and tried to clear out the situation. "We're here because we are under my boss's order. And we came here to save Steph, but it looks like you already did. So, we came with no harm intended towards you."
She taps her left foot back in and walks away. All the men let out a sigh of relief.
She was on her halfway out when Steph called.
"Flora! Thank you… I owe you one."
"I failed. I was too late." She said regrettably.
"But you still came, so thank you," Stephanie said.
"Okay." Flora smiled at her.
She smiled back.
After all the things she's been through, "I know this might be our first meeting, but I want you to know that I am very grateful that you came and saved me. Let's be friends. Okay?"
Flora just smiled in return. Then she turned to the leader.
He gulped again. He got a feeling that he would fear this girl forever. Then, finally, he sees her eyes and understood that he has to introduced himself.
"I'm Nathan Crimson. Sir took me in when I was 9. I'm specialized in computer; hacking, and we're trained to kill. I got a report that from the estate. We're no longer safe there. Sir said to ask you for guidance."
Flora raised her eyebrows, and then she understood what it meant. "I see."
"We're here to protect Stephanie." He continues.
Steph heard her house is not safe anymore; she got nothing but worried for her dad.
"Is he okay? Where is he now?" She asked Nathan.
"We haven't got any words besides the estate is not safe, and that was since 3 hours ago," Nathan said sadly.
Flora, in her deep thoughts,
Thank you for your guidance Sir Valid. – Flora thought to herself.
"The rest of my team will go back to the estate; however, Sir said I must stay and protect our young miss," Nathan said
"I'm not a young miss, and I don't need protection. Nate, we should go back for Dad." Steph said.
"Alright, Stephanie is going with me. and I don't mind accepting a stranded cat." Flora just shrugged and walked out.
"Nate, I can't just go without knowing dad well-being," Steph said.
"…." Nathan looks at Steph tearfully.
"He's gone already." Flora paused her walk and said.
"I offered to save him, but he said you're his life. So, I'm saving his life. But don't let his wish be gone. I'll bring you home, but you can't enter. So, your clan lost the battle." Flora continued.
"What? What battle? Nate? Explain to me." She pulls Nate's shirt.
"Simur, the 7th and 8th chair, wants our chair. So he took you away right under our nose, get hints from Sir Valend about the Flower, destroyed our clan for the 6th chair, and took over our city territory. It's a war, Steph."
"Why, such an important thing, and nobody tells me? Am I such a child that nobody takes me seriously to the point that I don't even know? Even my own father didn't trust me on this?" Steph said lowly.
"Your father was a respectful man. However, I know deep inside that he blames himself for his leadership and lost the battle. Because of this, he made the whole clan fall. It's not that he didn't try. There must be a mastermind behind this, and they just planned it well." Flora said.
Steph was crying inside. But she's pretty sure that her dad would be upset if she continues to be like this.
She lost both parents today. She's gone.
They took her mom's body and buried her somewhere far away and needed to make sure it was unnoticeable. To make sure she is not disturbed even she's in her grave.
They are on their way to Flora's safe place for now.
Flora smiled after he thinks about Sir Valend. 'That old man is sure a pain in the ass. So stubborn and never want to let anyone knows about his worries. Rather keep it all to himself till the very end.'
Nathan nodded. Then Flora continued. "He knows I would disappear. He's the guy who helps me to gain my freedom.
You have proven your loyalty to Sir Valid. Now's his souls may rest in peace." Flora said.
They both lower their heads.
After the whole talking, the trio set foot together. Years passed by, and they made history together. They turned into best buddies and trust each other with their lives. They kept moving from one city to another.
Now they're planning to move to City K. It's not boring for them. The three love playing hide and seek.
Except something grows…... particularly someone's talent and someone's heart….
