I could feel my breathing begin to get slightly heavier. “Mainly because I can’t let myself fall for you all over again. Not after everything that happened.”

His hand caressed my cheek. “You can’t fall for someone all over again when the feelings never left in the first place Isabelle.”

I turned my face away from his touch. “But they did Sterling. What I felt for you is gone.”

He took my chin between his fingers and thumb and forced me to look at him again. The darkness in his eyes had been placed with desire. “Now why would you lie about something like that?”

"Izzy!" Scarlett practically squealed with excitement as she entered the bridal room and looked me over in my dress. "You look absolutely stunning!"


It had been over a year since everything the Tunts had been taken out and Sterling got his promotion. Things were still going smoothly for us, in fact they've been better than ever and I couldn't be happier with where I am in life.


Sweet Escapes has been a tremendous success and I've had to hire more people to keep up with the demand. On top of that, Sterling has helped coach me with running things all on my own. Everything was working out and I could tell that he was proud of me and everything I've accomplished.


"How are you feeling?" Kaydence asked as she sat on the couch in the room. She's been by my side for the most of today which I couldn't be more grateful for.


God knows I've been a jumble of nerves since I woke up this morning.


"I'm doing alright." I answered honestly. "I'm excited to get everything started and to marry my best friend, but I can't wait to have all of the attention off of me."


Kaydence let out a low chuckle. "Completely understandable."


"Well for what it's worth, I'm thrilled to have you as a sister officially." Scarlett beamed as she spoke. "You fit in nicely as a Tipton if I may say so."


"I agree." Kaydence added as she got up from the couch. "You and Sterling were a match made in heaven if you ask me. You were meant to be and I'm glad to see that things have worked out."


Damon Tipton bringing me in to Tipton Enterprises as Sterling's assistant had turned out to be the best thing to happen to me. It led me to having a second chance with the person I was meant to be with. Sterling and I were destined for each other, I've known it since the moment I first realized my feelings ran deeper than just a friendship.


Even though we've had our ups and downs, it was all worth it. Sterling and I managed to defeat the odds that were against us. Even with people tearing us apart and even almost succeeding, we managed to pull through.


"Isabelle." Kaydence's voice pulled me out of my thoughts. "It's time. Are you ready?"


Taking in a deep breath, I let it out as I grabbed my bouquet. "Yes, I'm ready."


I'm ready for the next step in my future, the future where Sterling is standing by my side. The future where we continue to have each other's backs no matter what because we love each other.


I'm ready to become the next Mrs. Tipton.
