I could feel my breathing begin to get slightly heavier. “Mainly because I can’t let myself fall for you all over again. Not after everything that happened.”

His hand caressed my cheek. “You can’t fall for someone all over again when the feelings never left in the first place Isabelle.”

I turned my face away from his touch. “But they did Sterling. What I felt for you is gone.”

He took my chin between his fingers and thumb and forced me to look at him again. The darkness in his eyes had been placed with desire. “Now why would you lie about something like that?”


Sterling and Isabelle had a one of a kind love, however they ended up growing apart as they got older. Sterling returns back to Nashville, TN after finishing college. He is set to get the new Vice President position of Tipton Enterprises which means he'll be working under his father, Damon Tipton. Everything is on track with his career however he's unhappy as he feels stuck in his relationship with his manipulative girlfriend, Elise. What happens when he meets his new assistant who also happens to be his childhood love, Isabelle? Isabelle left Nashville years ago after feeling betrayed by Sterling. She’s only returning because this was a job offer too good to pass up, even with the little details provided. Only on her first day does she realize who her boss is. Things are about to get complicated.

I want to thank you all for following along on this journey and sticking by me as I wrote this one. I know there has been alot going on so it got dragged out longer than necessary. The loyalty some of you have is amazing and I will forever be grateful for you!


Now, I know that I've mentioned multiple times that Scarlett and Killian would be getting a book but things have slighly changed. I don't feel connected to them right now and I cannot force myself to sit down and write their book. If I did that I would end up delivering absolute garbage and I refuse to allow that. I want to provide only the best of my work for my readers.


I can't say that it'll never happen because I definitely feel a story line between them, but for right now it's just not something I can plan and commit to.


As for the future of my work, I'm not entirely sure as I'm still trying to figure things out. What I do know is that I'm only going to be working on projects that I feel connected and drawn to. I put so much into my work and it takes so much out of me that I hate when I can't give my all, which is what I feel happened with Bound To Fall. I had other things planned out for the story and they didn't work out due to some outside influences, stress, and my mental health so it ended up slightly rushed and I lost the feel for these characters.


Lastly, I want to be completely transparent with you all. To allow myself to provide my very best I will be focusing solely on my Kindle work. On there I'm able to take my time and I can edit it to make it as perfect for you guys as possible. The bright side to that is that each release is the book is already completed so you don't have to wait for updates.


I understand that some of you may be upset by this and if that happens, just know I'm sorry but I feel this is necessary so that I can take the next steps in furthering my writing.
