Hunter Exam Part 8!

A day has passed since Sye met up with Hisoka and he still only has 1 badge but he hasn't actively been searching for the other participants.

'Maybe I should of fought Illumi and took his but then how would plot work out then, would Illumi decide to take Killua back to the Zoldyck family straight away as he couldn't pass the exam or would he go hunt Leorio, Gon and Kurapika and take their badges as revenge. I don't know but it would of been a fun fight, too bad'

Sye was regretting his actions of not atleast fighting Illumi but he will just leave it up to luck if they meet again or if they fight in the final stage of the exam.

Sye continued to walk through the forest on the island and he kept walking for hours and he finally noticed someone,

'Yes my next prey finally', just as he was getting excited his mood deflated and he became upset,

"Ah Sye how are you doing on the test and don't creep up behind me and scare me like that", Sye found Leorio his actual target but he knows he can't take his badge or he will most likely fail.

"I'm doing good just looking for more people what about you",

"Me and Kurapika teamed up to take both of our opponents and we both successfully retrieved the badges we need",

'So they both teamed up even without Tonpa being involved in the exam, I guess changing the plot is harder than expected',

"I saw Gon get Hisoka's badge that was fun to watch and where's Kurapika now then?", Sye questioned as he couldn't sense him around in a 20 meter radius,

"He went hunting for some food, and Gon actually successfully got Hisoka's badge, that's really good news I thought he would of had to hunt 3 other people", Leorio said his truthful opinion,

"Ye it was pretty fun to watch, anyway I better get back to the exam I have 2 more people to find",

"Ok cya after the exam, but why are you hunting 3 people and not your target?",

"I'll tell you after the exam", Sye said this while walking back deeper into the forest.

After walking for around another 2 hours Sye finally found another prey,

Sye used In and completely erased his presence that not even Ging or other expert nen users would be able to find him, Sye snuck behind his prey without making a sound and the other participant had no idea until he heard a voice,

"Hello prey",

He jumped in shock and flipped backwards and landed 5 meters away from Sye facing him, but Sye was conflicted,

"Ah the ninja Hanzo, this is complicated, do I change the plot or just let him go", Sye said the first part aloud but muttered the final part of his sentence,

He was confused at what to do as Gon won't be put up against Hanzo if he takes him out and that means Gon might not get an opponent who gives up as to he is to stubborn, but Sye eventually made a decision,

"How many badges have you collected that aren't your target?", Sye said this while releasing a substantial amount of pressure to show Hanzo the difference between them.

"Only 1 that isn't my target", Hanzo was scared and didn't want to fail the exam so soon so he grit his teeth and knew he would have to push his pride down in this confrontation,

"Good give me that 1 badge and you can leave",

Hanzo throws over the badge to which Sye places it in his pocket again without checking the number and stops releasing his pressure and nods to Hanzo who sprints off into the forest afraid Sye might change his mind.

'This is good, 2 badges now, only 1 more needed and I still have around 2-3 days left of this exam, I guess I'll get the final badge tomorrow and the best place to do this is to head back closer to the finishing region', Sye decided to head back and catch someone along the the way but before that he decided to go hunt some food and have a good rest.

After Sye rested for around 6 hours with no problems through the rest, he set out back towards the ending region of the island which took him around 3 hours before finally making it to the grass lands of where they started,

He could sense a couple of people close by but he only needed one so he went with someone he couldn't remember from the anime,

Sye vanished from his spot moving at speeds most people of the Hunter world couldn't reach or even see, he shot towards a random cannon fodder of the anime and instantly chopped his neck causing him to faint, after searching his clothes he found only one badge and put it in his pocket, afterwards he smirked,

"Hisoka it's not polite to spy on someone you know",

"Ai ai calm down Sye, I am being harmless please don't hurt me~", Sye was getting really annoyed of Hisoka's depraved voice that he nearly punched him,

"Hisoka should we have a sparring match?",

Hisoka smiled at this as he wanted to fight with Sye just not to the death cause he knew he might die instantly and that's not a fight that's just an execution,

"Yes please Syee~",

"Ok Illumi count us down", Illumi came out of the shadows surprised that Sye knew he was watching but albeit surprised still counted down until he said,

"Start"

Both Sye and Hisoka vanished from their positions and launched to each other at the same time but Sye lowered his speed to match Hisoka's so both their fist met in the middle and a wave of power erupted from their collision but Hisoka was still pushed back from the pure strength of Sye's body which he can't change to match Hisoka's,

Hisoka smiled bitterly but still pulled out his cards with his nen connected to it or in reality his hatsu ability, bungee gum.

Sye saw the cards coming at him and smiled, he lowered his speed again and relied on his eyes and instincts and evaded the cards coming towards him with his eyes and then the cards from behind that Hisoka was pulling back with his bungee gum with his instincts,

Sye then increased his speed up a notch and shot to Hisoka but as it was only 1 level faster Hisoka could still see his movements and reacted accordingly, evading all the punches aiming for his vital points but he still got light attacks on his non vital points.

They both jumped backwards from each other until a 7 meter gap, Hisoka laughed creepily again but his eyes widened in shock as Sye disappeared from his sight and then all he felt was pain in his gut and he saw Sye below him with his fist in his stomach smiling at him.

Sye walked off from the nearly fainting Hisoka and the wide eyed Illumi,

"I didn't even see him move", Illumi commented in shock as Sye was gone from his view.

After the spar between Hisoka and Sye, Sye was happy has he had gotten adequate experience from evading the cards when they were being pulled back and striking from behind especially with his lowered speed, he went back to a resting spot and remembered events of the fight and then began to meditate and sleep and he did that for the remaining days and finally the manhunt ended.

First semi proper fighting scene, I'm still not good at them so the experience for Sye is basically my experience for writing them, but what did you think about it?

Finally the final stage of the exam and its the tournament/fighting part and then the exam is over, I know we are all excited for it to end.
