Natalie had always been a fairly happy girl with a life that she was content with. At least until six months ago when her lifelong best friend, with who she had shared everything with up until that point, suddenly decided that they needed to end their friendship with no warning. The life that she had known and loved shattered around her, taking her with it. Now, she's closed herself off from everyone around her and made a vow to herself to never let anyone in again in an effort to never have to go through that pain again.
For six months, her plan had gone smoothly and seemed fail-proof.  While it’s amusing how wound up this stupid camping trip has made Holloway, it’s definitely not a welcome trip for me. This man is insane just throwing this at us as if we can just pack up and go. I have a life. One that I can’t easily pick up and abandon for two days. This definitely throws a hitch in things. 


 Now I’m stuck with having to come up with a plan on how to either make this work or skip it entirely. I pull my phone out and shoot a text to Rex telling him I have a problem. It would probably be easy to get out of this but then I’d never hear the end of it from Holloway. Getting a good grade wouldn’t be bad for my grade as well.
