CHAPTER 30

The journey back home was spent in awkward silence. Julia sat all quiet right next to Joshua, her hands holding on tight to her walking stick and if it had a voice it would have screeched out in pain. The gate automatically opened as soon as they approached and Joshua was the first to get out of car. As he approached Julia's door he felt rather nervous. He had kissed women as a once off and walked off with no feelings attached, but the nerves this time were getting the better of him, especially having briefly mistaken her for Melissa at the club. He knew she died, but who was this woman making him see his lost love in her? He eventually opened the door and let her out as they walked straight into the house.

"I uhm...I'm sorry i didn't mean to kiss you its just that..."
