Splitting The Loot

"No".

During the 4 dungeon runs they did, they had perfected their dungeon hunting strategy.

Instead of waiting around for the mouse to scout and relay back the information, they walked together with the mouse. When they were in a fork on the road, only then would they send in the mouse. If the mouse came back saying it was empty, they would take the other road.

Once they reached the boss room, there was a single strategy to kill the boss.

First, Obcisor would taunt the boss and start dealing damage. At this point, he ditched the shield and started going bare fist against the boss so as to not lose aggro.

Everyone else would also attack the boss at the same time, once the boss reached around 60% HP, Irene would immediately use her massive thunderbolt skill which took off about 30% of the boss's HP.

When the boss had 30% HP left, he would go into the battle mode wherein he would start using ranged attacks.

The first time around, he would use 5 air slashes which Obcisor and the Hell bear would just tank.

The second time around, the boss would use 7 air slashes, which Obcisor would equip his shield and use [Attract] on, and then use [Bulwark's Revenge].

Doing this would instantly kill the boss.

The whole party was out of the dungeon now. They were all either level 40 or higher and couldn't enter the dungeon anymore.

It was now time to split the loot. Aside from what was equally separated by the system.

They looked at the remaining loot left to be split.

During the 5 total raids, they got 2 sets of uncommon boots, 3 sets of uncommon knives, 1 armor, and 2 skill scroll.

The skill scrolls were the most amazing part of this whole hunt. People would go dozens of hunts without seeing a single scroll, and they found two in five runs?

They didn't know if it was an error on the system's side or they were just that lucky.

Obcisor wasn't stupid enough to reveal anything here. Besides, he was too busy cursing at the game for not dropping a single scroll in his 3 goblin dungeon clears.

"Ok let's do this," Tiny spoke. "I will separate these into 5 piles; 2 piles for boots and knife, 1 pile for knife and armor, and 2 pile for the skill scrolls."

"And now we roll for it," Red said understanding where tiny was going with this.

Tiny smiled.

"Alright guys, I will use the party panel's random sorting system to randomly order us from 1 to 5. Depending on how it turns out, Number 1 will get the first pick from the pile, number 2 second pick, so on and so forth. Agreed?" red asked

"Sounds fair to me," Irena said.

Pink star nodded slightly as well.

"I got no problem with that brother Red", Obcisor said.

"Alright then, here it goes." Red randomized the party sorting.

This was the result.

1. Obcisor

2. Charming Irene

3. Tiny Army

4. Pink Star

5. Red Blaze

"Goddammit. I have no luck. Be it in-game or outside." Red said while shaking his head.

"Aww... I was one step away from getting the scroll" Tiny lamented

The pink star got a little dejected but said nothing. But you could see in her eyes, she really wanted those scrolls.

"HAHA! Get it suckers. Woo hoo, this scroll is mine." Irene said as she took the scroll.

Obcisor also quietly took his scroll. He was quite happy about it but didn't show it on his face.

'Finally, An AOE skill' he thought.

Tiny chose the armor and knife. Swinging the giant sword around was not very efficient when fighting smaller monsters and the armor gave him much-needed defense.

Red and Pink reluctantly took the remaining boots and knives.

Irene immediately tore the scroll and learned the skill. Obcisor decided to do so as well.

While the skill wasn't exactly AOE, it still hit multiple enemies at once which was what he needed. He opened his status to check how much damage he would do.

"Holy shit" Obcisor shouted out loud.

"What is it, Brother-O?" Red asked

"Oh, nothing. I hadn't looked at my status page since I started hunting today. I was just so surprised to see how much my stats had increased." He replied honestly.

"I hear you brother. The same thing happens to me from time to time" Red laughed. The rest of them giggled a little as well.

Obcisor decided to check what else had changed. So he opened his skills page.

His mythical skills were only up about 4% each. It looked like it would take a while before they leveled up. His [Consecutive Strike] was up about 12%. That wasn't so bad, was it? [Patient Mind] however hadn't gone up much. Ever since the Class change test was over, it was stuck at around 88%.

The most improvement came with [Vocal Taunt].

Somewhere during the 3rd run of the wolf dungeon, his taunt skill had reached level 2. There wasn't any massive change to the skill, but the cooldown had reduced by 20 seconds.

It didn't sound great on paper; but in a real battle, where you desperately needed to stop an enemy from moving or disrupt an enemy's skill casting, having a 20-second reduction on the taunt skill was very good to have.

The dungeon hunting was done, so the group decided to split up.

Before leaving everyone added each other as their friends. Obcisor was happy to have them.

"Where will you go now, Brother-O?" Red asked.

"I don't know. I hadn't thought about it. Maybe I will hunt some monsters on the east and west side of town?" Obcisor answered a little unsure.

Red laughed a little, "It seems you don't know Brother-O. There are no more dungeons in Blue Keep city where you can gain experience."

Obcisor was surprised a little, "What do you mean, brother Red?" he asked.

"Exactly what I said, Brother-O. You will have to leave this city now. Blue Keep city was always meant to be a starting place for you in the western continent. It's the place where you obtain your class and get used to it. Once that is over, you leave." Red said.

"Does that mean, I have to look for a different city now? How do I go to a new one?" Obcisor asked

"Well, there are two ways."
