ONE ORDINARY MORNING

"would you be alright on your own ?" Evans asked.

Evans was on his way to work and Kim was taking a break from acting .

" of course . why ? you don't want to go ?" Kim joked

"half and half "

"Go. we are married now . so where would I possibly run off too ? "

Evans nodded his head.

" I'll be back immediately afterwards . i promise "

Kim laughed and pushed him out through the door .

" Go"

Evans pecked her and got into his car and drove off.

Kim smiled as she went in and headed to the fridge.

They were out of groceries.

A knock on the door was heard.

Kim smiled.

It was obviously Evans.

" well now that he's here ,he might as well drop her off to get groceries"she muttered.

She went to the door and when she opened it ,she saw no one .

she looked around. .

" Evans ?" she called but no response.

She turned around to go in when someone held her hand .

In the blink of an eye, her nose was covered with a handkerchief containing chloroform.

She struggled and tried to scream but it was to no avail.

Her head was spinning and her eyes were heavy.

Unable to fight any longer, she lost consciousness.
