The Girl From the Cellar

"What? Are you vouching for this one?" Victor joked.

Jimmy recoiled immediately. "Sorry, I wouldn't even vouch for my own Mama, let alone some bloke who knows how to talk a sweet deal." He rolled his eyes. "If Caroline thinks she works well, use her. You can always throw her out if she messes up."

Victor snorted. "Let her stay there a couple of days, then. Until Caroline remembers her."

"Has she started talking to herself yet?" Jimmy asked.

Victor arched a brow. "She talks to herself? That's not someone we want working for us."

"More like she needs someone to talk to when she is locked up in the dark. I would have gone crazy a long time ago. It means little that she is talking to herself. She is very lucid when she is in front of people."

"As long as she doesn't have loose lips."

The conversation ended and Jimmy was shooed out. Victor, the lover of silence in midst of chaos looked at the screen for the cellar once, shuddered, and then switched it off.
