She Knows Nothing

Anna didn't know when the operation would take place, but it was fortunate that Tia's last shift ended the day of the operation.

"We need to get drunk," Tia moaned as she cleaned out her locker and hung her coat over her hand.

"I promised I would hang out with you, didn't I?" Anna laughed. It was mainly because she needed to be away from the scene when Victor and the gang were arrested. She didn't want to sit in the police station and be questioned by cops for the next however many days. "But no drinking. I have a shift tonight," Anna told her calmly.

"You're gonna watch me get smashed and do nothing about it." She nodded in understanding. "Just because I have escaped this hellhole doesn't mean you can say the same. Okay!" She clapped her hand. "You will be my designated driver. You have a license, right?"

Anna rolled her eyes. "I know the stops where the cops won't catch us," she countered with a wink.
