As soon as Dustan was outside, Alva met him. He regarded the prince with a small nod before urging the lad to follow him. Dustan walked behind Alva as the older among the two led them to their room.
As Alva closed the door behind them, he heaved a heavy sigh.
"I realized that I had yet to apologize... for the whole chaos I've caused, trying to get in between you and Kari." Alva started after a moment of silence.
Dustan acknowledged the blonde with a small nod.
"I know I have been selfish. I had judged your intentions far too soon." Alva ran a hand through his locks. "And, I know I have wronged you so, trying to get under your nerves by proclaiming falsehoods about my affections. I just—"
