"We're here," Zaen announced as he walked into their home, "Before you get all comfy here, let me explain a few things to you. You will not move around the house or touch anything. Because my brother- Shoot! I forgot about him. You just stay here. I have to check on something first, I'll be back afterwards."

Zaen rushed off to his room where Aeron was laying unconscious. He had gotten way too absorbed in chatting with Kayla and her tales about the elves and other monsters that almost forgot about Aeron. Zaen had his suspicions that his irrational behaviour may have been an effect of Kayla's charm or something. Still, he felt terrible about it. His brother was lying in a bed, all alone in their home and rather than rushing home after he was done lashing out, Zaen spent his time casually chatting with a stranger. This was not the type of brother he was.
