Military academy

When the strange phenomenon struck, most of the survivors awakened their abilities and after they built the strongholds, the research on this unknown phenomenon became the top priority of the Federation. After twenty years, the researchers have discovered that the children born in the post- phenomenon era are awakening their abilities at the age of sixteen. With further observations they concluded that 97% of the newly born will awaken at sixteen. So the Federation established military academies in cities at C-level and above.

Thirty years ago, the Federation made it mandatory for the children above age ten to attend the local schools for preliminary education. Where they will learn math, law, Geography and History, they also had to learn skills related to survival and basic harvesting of mutated animals.

After the mandatory preliminary education, the students will attend a military academy for four more years. As most of them will awaken their abilities at sixteen, the first thing they will do is to take ability test. Later, depending on the type of their ability, they will attend the classes. In military academy they will teach about how to fight the mutated animals, how to use your ability and other common military practices like using weapons and discipline. Most of the teachers in the military academy are the active and retired soldiers of the Federation army.

"What?" the bodyguard that is standing beside Paul said out loud with his eyes open wide, but quickly realized what he did and went mum.

"I said, I am attending Xuzhou city military academy" Paul said coldly while wiping his mouth with a towel.

"Yes, Boss Paul should be eighteen this year, right? He still has to attend two years of military academy" said Sheikh Ibrahim.

"Have you arranged everything properly?" he added, glancing at Salman.

"Yes dad. The Xuzhou city academy administration already received transfer papers from the Marchetti city. So from today Boss Paul can attend the school" replied Salman and looked warily towards Paul but he got startled. Because Paul is staring at him with his deep blue eyes. So Salman just smiled at him.

Just then, Ibrahim's youngest daughter and Salman's half sister came dashing towards the place where Paul and others having breakfast while gasping heavily.

"What's wrong, Fathima?" said Ibrahim, looking at his twelve year daughter.

"Dad, dad. Look at this" she said and showed Ibrahim her PAD.

"There was an article about big brother Paolo and Salman in Xuzhou city's news" she said pointing at the holographic screen.

"What?" said Salman and checked his PAD too and his expression turned paled reading this. Paul also went through and found it easily, because it is currently the most searched term in that portal.

Soon Paul and his two bodyguards left the manor in an armored which is driven by Salman. With the arrival of Paul, Salman demoted from a Vice president to an assistant and now a chauffeur.

"By the way, Boss Paul. The principal of the Xuzhou city academy mentioned that your body guards shall not enter the school premises. I tried to negotiate with him but he denied" said Salman while driving.

Though Xuzhou city is a mid-level city, the area of the city is small. So the roads are narrow and filled with people. After a ten-minute drive they reached the West side gate of the Xuzhou city and the armored car passed through that gate and left the stronghold.

Within five minutes, Paul and his bodyguards saw a large camp with tall towers and building before them. As the Federation army runs the academy, it is right beside the camp of 23rd Army Division, which is permanently stationed near Xuzhou.

Soon the armored car reached the main gate of the Military academy. Immediately their vehicle garnered the attention of the nearby students that are also entering the school. Paul's bodyguards alighted the car first and then Salman.

By now even the students inside the campus are also looking out from the classroom towards the main gate and when Salman got down the vehicle, the students were shocked to see him. As the VP and the direct descendant of the Badami group he constantly appears in the news, also because of his large stature, the students easily recognized him.

Before they can realize why Sheikh Salman of the Badami group is outside their military academy, Paul alighted the vehicle. Instantly the entire school became silent, but the next second they filled it with fanatical cries of the girls when they saw Paul.

Generally, the military outfits worn by the students will be like their military division's outfit. So the students of the Xuzhou military academy wear the 23rd division outfit, which has a typical dark green camouflage pattern.

Whereas the Marchetti city's 4th division combat uniform has khaki colored universal combat pattern, but as this is his first day Paul adorned a ceremonial outfit. It is a six-button black jacket, classical cut black trousers, a white shirt worn underneath and with a black tie and a hat with the 4th division symbol on it. These are exclusive to the army divisions of A-level cities, whereas the mid-level and lower-level city divisions don't have a ceremonial outfit.

As the students never saw this uniform before and combining this with his looks, Paul looked dazzling and charming. Sending the hearts of the girls in the Military academy into overdrive.

"Ah! The perks of being handsome. I surely miss them" mumbled Salman but Paul and his bodyguards heard him. They were dumbfounded hearing Salman.

Paul got used to setting the hearts of girls and ladies on fire, so he didn't mind them and entered the academy.

Right at this moment, a student wearing a casual round necked T-shirt and a camouflage patterned cargo pants also entered the campus behind Paul. Instantly, the focus of everyone shifted from Paul to this new guy. He is tall and has broad shoulders. He has lean muscles and that tight fitting T-shirt highlighted them more. His lustrous dark hair with pitch black dark eyes made him look like a prince.

While Paul had a dazzling and charming outlook, this new guy looked devilish and exotic. Just like Paul, he too went to the administrative building without giving a glance at the girls, who were frivolously trying to grab his attention.

"What's happening? Why are there two angels coming to our academy at the same time?" one girl said, shrieking out loud.

"Have you gone blind? They are far above angles. They are like gods came directly from the mythologies" another girl chided.

"Yes, like Apollo and Thor" said one more girl. Not only them, every girl in the campus was discussing the two. Soon the bell rang, as an intimation to the students that the lectures are going to start. Immediately, everyone ran back to their classes and took their seat. Though the students acted erratically before in the classes, they were disciplined.

Han Ye Seul, homeroom teacher of class 3-A, entered the classroom. Instantly, the students in the classroom stood up and gave a Federation military salute, where the right hand is raised sharply, with the facing down while the hand and wrist are straight (An US army salute).

Han Ye Seul returned the salute and said "At ease". Everyone sat back down. The students are considered as cadets. As the teachers are soldiers, with higher rank than them, they should give a salute.

"Today our class is going to have two transfer students" before she can complete instantly the students started murmuring.

"Quiet" she said loudly and everyone became silent

"Let us all welcome them. You guys can come in now" she said and as the students guessed, two extremely handsome boys entered the classroom at the same time.
