It was the last Wednesday of the holiday, and the Grangers drove Ryan and their daughter to Diagon Alley for shopping. Because Ryan's mother has to go to work, and his father claims that he has a brilliant idea for a new book and can't do anything else.

After arriving in this world, Ryan discovered that although the world is not much different from the world he was from in the perspective of historical direction, there are still changes in many small places. For example, many original world-famous literary works have been written here by other authors, and some have never appeared here, while as some famous authors have written totally different literature.

It's just that Ryan couldn't remember the specific content of the book he had read before, and he didn't have time to copy the text. So while chatting at home, Ryan told his father, Mr. Lambert, some works he remembered that had never appeared in this world.

Probably stimulated by these great works and the fact that there is magic in this world, Mr. Lambert decided to change his writing style this time and write a masterpiece of magical epic.

So he retreated to write the text, thus Mr. Lambert shooed away Ryan and called Granger couple to take care of him.

According to Ryan's point of view, Hermione's parents are standard literate people and gentle. In particular, Mr. Granger is actually a fan of Ryan's Dad's books, which makes it easier for Ryan to talk on a lot of common topics in the car along the way.

When they arrived at Diagon Alley, Ryan and Hermione decided to go to Gringotts to exchange money first. As soon as they stepped on the white marble steps of Gringotts, they saw Hagrid walking over with Harry.

"Hey, Harry." Harry looked up and saw Ryan and Hermione standing on the white steps of Gringotts.

Ryan greeted Harry while walking down the steps with Hermione.

"Did you go camping? Why are you dirty? Hagrid. . . oh, it's great to see you two again. . . Are you going to Gringotts now, Harry?"

"I'll go after I find the Weasleys." Harry said.

"You don't have to keep looking for them." Hagrid laughed.

Soon the Weasleys appeared, the twins and Ron expressed their envy towards Harry's recent adventures.

Taking advantage of the opportunity while Mr. and Mrs. Weasleys were greeting Harry, Ryan covertly handed a small bag to Fred.

"What are you doing, Ryan?" Ron asked after seeing the shady deal happening.

"You know that I went to Iceland during the summer vacation. Your brothers asked me to bring them some local specialties" Ryan replied.

As they walked up the steps of Gringotts together, Harry told Ryan that he had met Lucius Malfoy and his son in the dark magic shop. Mr. Weasley, who followed them, felt that he should seize the evidence that the Malfoys were engaged in dark magic. Then he argued with Mrs. Weasley who advised him to be cautious and protect himself first.

Mr. Weasley's attention was soon shifted, and he stood in the hall greeting the Granger couple. It seemed that Mr. Weasley was indeed a good person who was very passionate about Muggles, but the Grangers were a bit uncomfortable with this passion.

Then the two parties bid farewell temporarily. The Weasleys and Harry were going to the underground vault to withdraw money, while Ryan and Hermione exchanged currency at the lobby.

"This year everyone's quota is 250 Galleons because this year the Hogwarts textbook fee has increased." The goblin said to them a little impatiently. It is likely that he had said this many times this morning.

When Harry and the others came out, they all planned to gather at the Bookstore after about an hour. Before that, it was time for shopping.

Ryan and the gang strolled on the cobbled streets, browsing the array of goods on the street, eating a large firm fruit cream ice cream.

They saw the Weasley twins and Lee Jordan buying a lot of fireworks. Later, Hermione dragged them with her to buy parchment paper and ink.

As usual, Ryan had to go to the thrift store to check if there were any useful old books. After seeing Ryan's 1893 edition of " Making a Hundred Common Potions " last time, Hermione was also eager to try this kind of get-lucky behavior.

Unfortunately, Harry and Ron were not interested in this, so they broke up and went to the Quidditch boutique.

"Knowledge is so useful, but why do they think that barbaric sport of flying around on a broom is more interesting?" Hermione said in a puzzled way.

"You know, they all have family inheritance of this sport. Besides, only a small group of people enjoy reading." Ryan turned to Hermione as he opened the store door.

After entering the door, they found that Percy Weasley was attentively reading a very boring book: "How the Prefect Gets Power". Ryan looked at the opened page, which read the professions that the prefects were engaged in after they left school.

Seeing Ryan staring at his book curiously, Percy closed the book a little embarrassedly and greeted Ryan. In fact, Hermione and Ryan had a good relationship with Percy, especially when they organized collective homework, Percy provided a lot of help.

"The content of this book is too crude." Ryan said disdainfully. But think about it, the magic world is so big, and there is no need to have such subtle political skills.

"I think it's well written, why do you think it's crude?" Percy asked curiously. From his expression, he felt that Ryan shouldn't understand much about these things at his age, and he should just be talking nonsense.

"I recommend you to read the 'Comprehensive Mirror in Aid of Governance'. This is a book written to the emperor by a prime minister of Imperial China more than a thousand years ago. The cases in it are much more diverse than those in this book after all the prime minister was writing it to the emperor. I remember that someone has translated it into English, if you don't feel like reading that book find any ancient book with similar content, it should have more diverse and realistic cases than this book."

Percy became really interested. He asked Ryan to write him the name of the book and said that he will surely give the book a read.

After sending off Percy, who was a little excited, Ryan and Hermione began to dig through the piles of old books. Most of the owners just scribbled on the old books, and some of them might even be soaked in some kind of potion to give off an unpleasant smell.

It may be the beginner's luck. But, Hermione found a useful book, which was a curse lesson note of a Ravenclaw student. Hermione thought that some knowledge on it was very useful.

At the checkout, Hermione said to Ryan: " I used to think that these second-hand books are for people with financial problems. They have no advantages except for being cheap. Thanks to you telling me that there is something valuable left behind in them by the previous owners, their perspective, knowledge, and tips."

Ryan smiled.

This is the experience he gained when he bought second-hand goods in his last life. It is a very fresh theory for a girl from a good family who never needed to buy second-hand goods for financial reasons. Especially when she found the gold from a large pile of garbage by herself, the joy of harvest was something she has never experienced before.

After checking out and going out, Ryan took out his pocket watch and found that the appointed time was almost up, so he and Hermione ran to the Bookstore.
