A Meeting of the Living and the Dead.

A blond 6 year old was running for his life, he did not know why he was so scared of the man but he was he ran and ran thinking of his only maybe ally.

The kid stumbled a bit and looked up to see a ridiculously large cage and bolted right into it.

{What are you doing here spawn?} asked Kurama as he woke up from his nap.

"The ghost of the 4th Hokage is here and he is going to kill me" Said Naruto as he tried to hid under Kurama's little finger.

{*chuckle* You don't have or need to fear him spawn.After all he is the one that spawned you with your mother} as he looked at Minato who was rooted in place outside the cage.

"What dose that mean?"

{It means that he is your father and he won't hurt you.} Said Kurama as he pushed Naruto out the cage.

{Do you have the answers to my questions Spawn?} asked Kurama.

Naruto nodded still refusing to look at his father and ready to bolt into the cage at a moment's notice.

{What are you going to do about it?}

"I am going to become the Hokage and put an end to all wars so that you and your siblings can be free"

{I will hold you to that promise.} Said a smiling Kurama.

"That's unfair" Said Minato looking at the interaction between the two.

{You aren't a kid and neither a victim if anything I am going easy on you Minato}.

"You called him by his name!" Yelled Naruto still looking at Kurama.

{The both of you should start talking to each other after all Minato, dosen't have a lot of time} said Kurama ignoring the mini blond.

"What do you mean?"

"Let's go somewhere more private" Said Minato as he placed his hand on Naruto's shoulder and they disappeared going into a deeper layer of Naruto's mind.

Kuramas smile disappeared along with the blonds, His eyes hardened as he was visited by another blond.

"Kyuubi" Said Inoichi surrounded by Kanji.

{A seal that suppresses intelligence and slowly erodes the target's self awareness and at the same time preventing any sort of mind control and Illusions unless done by a Rinnegan. I am genuinely impressed Yamanaka it looks like your ancestors weren't all talk after all} Said Kurama as he studied the kanji that was floating around the blond intruder.

"What's your objective?" Questioned Inoichi.

{To be at peace} answered Kurama honestly.

"Do you plan on hurting the Jinchuriki or Konoha?" asked Inoichi almost robotically.

{Not unless I am forced to, now put the dying monkey forward unless you wish to loose a portion of your mind and your memories and turn into a puppet} Said Kurama as he flared his chakra which caused cracks to appear on the Kanji that floated around the blond.

"It is not possible" Said the Yamanaka still robotically.

{It is now} said Kurama as new red Kanji appeared surrounding the already floating Kanji.

"What did you do?" Asked Inoichi with fear.

{Add stability and removed suppression and erosion, Also added a relay so that you can switch minds with your 'companions' now switch with the fool I need to talk with him} commanded Kurama.

Inoichi tried to stay but the red runes glowed and Inoichi was replaced by a old man wearing black Ninja garments and a black Kabuto.

{There are a few things we need to talk about monkey} Said Kurama as he rose to his full height.

Hiruzen took a deep breath in order to calm down. He was listening in on the conversation between Inoichi and the Kyuubi and was terrified. They could nor terminate the ritual because they had no Idea what the changes done by the demon would result in leaving them no choice but to talk with the demon.At least it looks like they would be able to talk or learn something from him.

"What do you want to talk about?" Asked the Hokage.

Naruto shook off Minato's hand and backed away in fear and doubt which hurt the grown man and he cursed his past self for making such a stupid decision.

"Are you really my dad?" Asked the younger of the two blonds.

"Yes, I am" said Minato afraid to go near his son.

"Why?" asked Naruto.

Minato looked at him not understanding what he was talking about.

"Why did you and Mom leave me?".

"It was a mistake on my part one done in fear and anger, A mistake which I hope to correct"

"But you can't do that can you? you are dead!" yelled Naruto as tears started flowing from his eyes.

"Do you have any Idea how painful it is for me when people whisper in front of me calling me a demon? when they tell their children to stay away from me? when stall owners chase me away with a stick? when the other children sneer and bully me? When I was kicked out of the orphanage for being a danger to others?" Asked Naruto as he started bawling and asking every question he wanted to ask his parents if he ever met them until he was reduced to a sobbing mess.

At first the questions pierced Minato's heart but as time went on the questions stopped being about himself and became more and more mundane like the usual questions asked by 6 year olds (Put some in the paragraph comments I can't think of any) like he was running out of questions to throw at him.

Minato hugged his Son who reciprocated it and blew a huge snot onto Minato's cloak which he simply cleaned with a little chakra. After a few minutes Naruto stopped crying but he still held on to his dad desperately as if he was afraid that he would disappear.

"Have you calmed down Naruto?" asked Minato gently still hugging the young boy.

Naruto pushed away from him and sat down exhausted.

Minato sat in front of him and waited for Naruto to speak.

"Are you going to go away again?" Asked Naruto looking down and in a low voice.

"Yes"

"Oh...."said Naruto as he got even more depressed.

"But I will visit you again tomorrow" Said minato trying to hide a smile

"REALLY?"

"Really"

"But why do you have to go?"

"Because I did some thing stupid and I need to face the consequence of it the only reason I am able to visit you is because of Kyuubi-san" said Minato feeling melancholic.

"How long can you stay?"

"An hour every day untill Kyuubi-san figures out a way to get out of the situation we are in" Said Minato.

"How long will that take?"

"I don't know"

"How long do you have left?"

Minato stayed silent for a few seconds

"About 15 minutes"

"We don't have time to do anything today and I have so many things I want to ask you about" said Naruto as he pouted in disappointment.

"How about you tell me about your friends? Things you like and dislike?" asked Minato.

"I don't have friends people avoid me like I am a monster, I guess my pranking doesn't help my reputation." Shrugged Naruto.

Minato had a small sad smile on his face as he nodded encouraging Naruto to continue.

"I like the colour orange and ramen, I don't like studying those difficult kanji's and training. I want to be Hokage but I don't know how and I also feel stupid most of the time which I also dislike and um, that's about it I guess. Your turn!"said Naruto.

"I like the color red and Anpan, I like to study and train, I also love my family. I wanted to and became hokage so I can keep my home safe. I dislike those that harm my family and those that hurt others for no proper reason. I also dislike war and violence"

"Ne To-chan, can you tell me about your childhood?" asked Naruto.

Minato froze, He didn't expect Naruto to call him that, He never heard a young Naruto call him that and now that he heard him he couldn't stop the tears that started flowing from his eyes.

"To-chan what's wrong" Said Naruto as he came closer to wipe Minato's tears.

Minato hugged him while saying

"I am sorry Naruto"

"It's okay To-chan" said Naruto awkwardly hugging the grown up and patting his head.

{Do not EVER try to enter Naruto's mind or my mind again, I don't take kindly to those that trespass on my territory} said a grumbling kurama.

"Yes, I understand Kyuubi-san" said a rather relaxed hiruzen.

Hieuzen was scared out of his wits when he was forcefully swapped with Inoichi but as he conversed with the tailed beast he started calming down and soon was able to converse with the beast as he would with another kage.

A dangerous and powerful being who was not happy with his current situation but could do nothing about it because of his circumstance. It also helped that he felt no malice from the towering beast.

"Can I ask you a question Kyuubi-San?" aske Hiruzen.

{Go ahead}

"Why are you keeping me here and trying to distract me?" Asked hiruzen as they were not able to terminate the jutsu even after it's original usage time was expired.

{Because you guys chose a wrong time to enter the spawns mindscape and letting you terminate the technique now will only damage the spawns mind.}

Hiruzen was about to ask what he meant by that when.

"JIJI?" came a voice from behind him.

Hiruzen turned to see Naruto running towards him and smiled involuntarily infected by the happiness that was radiating from the kid and then he looked up and froze.

"How?"

"I made a deal with him and Section 3, compartment R, Number 24524947" Said Minato.

Hiruzen relaxed and then chuckled.

"I will have to change it's location now" said Hiruzen with a sigh.

"What are you talking about?" asked a curious Naruto.

"Nothing important Naruto but also something I can't tell you yet"

{3 minutes remaining Minato}

"Right, We can discuss the specifics Tomorrow evening as I only have about 40 minutes every day" Said Minato.

"I understand, but how are we going to talk?" asked Hiruzen.

"I was hoping you would teach Naruto the shadow clone technique." Said Minato.

Hiruzen blinked and then

"I see how that can be useful but have you gone insane? Naruto is still a 6 year old and that is a dangerous technique"

{I'll keep it safe and 1 minute remaining}

"Oi, Don't refer to me as a thing!" yelled Naruto who was ignored by kurama.

"You heard him and it will be fine and Naruto is immune to the side effects of shadow clones" argued Minato.

"Fine I will see what I can do" sighed the old Hokage.

Minato smiled and started glowing.

"To-chan, you are glowing!"

"See you tomorrow Naruto" Said Minato as he disappeared.

"Bye!" Waved a sad Naruto at nothing.

{Now shoo, You both need to head home and sleep} Said Kurama as he forced them both out of his seal and to their respective brains.
