The next day and the Fox Games.

Naruto was walking around the park whistling to himself when he saw someone stand in the corner while looking at the kids playing with longing eyes.

She had blue shoulder-length hair and pale pupil-less eyes, She also wore a light yellow one-piece with red flames on the edges and a pair of brown shorts. At first, Naruto felt that he should not be with someone as wired as her but then he remembered how he was treated and decided he shouldn't judge a book by its cover or its equivalent and went to her.

"Hey, My name is Uzumaki Naruto what's yours?"

"H-Hyuga Hinata." Said Hinata with a voice that was barely a whisper.

"You don't have to be scared of me you know. I won't hurt you." Said Naruto as he smiled at her causing her to do the same.

"Ne can you play with me?" Asked Naruto.

"S-sure," Said Hinata still nervous.

"Come with me I want to show you something." Said Naruto as he took her hand as started running.

Hinata was startled at first but followed him nonetheless.

Minato was laying on a patch of grass as he stared at the gray clouds that plagued the shinigami's stomach sky contemplating his very existence. It was a rare break when Kurama was doing his own thing and Minato had free time for thoughts.

Minato sighed and sat up looking at the forest where a couple of orange foxes with rabbit ears and human-like torsos with 9-tails were playing tag. Weaving between trees and trying to one-up each other by creating traps and pitfalls for the other.

Yes, Kurama created a forest with trees big enough to make you think he was a normal fox and not a towering Kaiju with attacks on par to the king of Kaiju.

That forest was also Minato's task for today he had to reach the center of the forest without dying. Now you would think it would be easy, it's a forest and Minato is a shinobi of Konoha, it should be a piece of cake for him, right? Wrong!

Kurama had made it so that there would be a bombardment of exploding acorns or an assault of nearly unbreakable vines or the ground turning into an unforgiving devil swamp at even tiniest chakra flowing into the ground or trees. So Minato had only two choices either teleport really fast without messing up or walk slowly without using ninjutsu and the worst part of it was just the periphery.

{Don't you want to see your spawn?} asked a clone of Kurama from behind Minato.

Minato didn't answer the Kaiju but asked a question that has been bothering him instead.

"Why are you doing this?"

Kurama tilted his head and smiled which looked like a malicious grin.

{For fun}

"Fun?"

{Fun}

"You are putting me through all this absurdity for fun?" Asked Minato shaking in rage and disbelief.

{Yes} Replied Kurama completely nonchalant.

"What will it take to make you stop?"

{I will stop if you ask me to but then I would also stop connect you to your spawn.}

Minato stayed silent for some time.

"One of these days I will find your weakness Kurama" swore Minato as he narrowed his eyes.

{Good Luck, I will be waiting for the day you do.} Said the clone as he jumped and joined the rest of the foxes disappearing into the forest.

Minato squinted at the absurdly large forest and started running towards it. He slowed down as he reached the first tree and touched it which caused it to glow yellow, signifying the challenge's start.

Minato slowly walked in while being wary of traps and trying not to blow up.

A few hours later and a few retries later.

Minato breathed a sigh of relief he cleared the periphery. He had finally figured out the timing of his teleports and It was more stressful than the times he had to race towards the ten-tails.

Minato looked around and saw that the ground was filled with holes and there was a small hill with a door at its base in front of him. While Kurama's head rested on top of it.

{Wellcome to stage two.} Said Kurama.

Minato just looked at the head.

{Your task is to catch the Fox with the key} said Kurama as a fennec fox appeared from a hole in front of him with a golden key tied around its neck.

{But beware as it is not the only fox in the den and the others can get a bit cranky....} Said Kurama as another fennec fox appeared and exploded into smoke in front of him.

{...or playful} Added Kurama helpfully as another fennec fox jumped near his head and exploded in a cloud of green which in turn turned his hair green.

{Good luck} said the Kurama as he vanished.

A few hours later.

Minato looked like _____________.[A/n: Think of an outfit that would make you laugh out loud and then imaging Minato in it].

And he was no closer to catching the shitty fox than he was at the start and once again he was not allowed to use Ninjutsu because the moment he did he would be swarmed by exploding foxes.

Minato sat on a rock sighing in frustration, his current outfit didn't help one bit. He was also sure Kurama was recording all his failures just so he could make fun of him.

Minato closed his eyes and a memory came to his mind.

"Foxs are curious, cunning, paranoid creatures you can't force them to be your friends like you would a dog." Said a 30ish old blond-haired man with a smile on his face.

"Then how do I make friends with them?" asked a 3-year-old Minato with a frustrated look on his face as he watched a group of red foxes play.

The man's smile widened as he said "Watch".

The man crouched down and held out his palm and chakra gathered in it releasing a soft white glow that felt warm and comforting and soon different birds and hares started gathering around them but none of them got close.

The glow also caught the attention of the red foxes and they came closer but were still far away.

The Man focused on his palm and the glow changed from white to red still warm and comforting yet different. Fealing the change in the glow the birds and the hares disappeared while the foxes came closer yet were still out of arms reach.

"Hold out your hand Minato." said the man.

Minato obliged.

The man placed his glowing palm on Minato's and the glow spread from his palm to all over Minato's body and then disappeared. Minato blinked and was about to ask the man what happened when a fox kit nuzzled its head to his leg.

Minato was overjoyed and picked up the little kit and hugged it.

"Dad, can you teach me to do whatever you did?" Asked a very excited Minato.

The older blond smiled

"Of course but after you start going to the academy. Now go play with your new friends." Said the man as he stood up.

Minato nodded happily and went to play with the foxes, which were now treating him as one of their own.

Minato opened his eyes and smiled sadly while he questioned himself as to how long it had been since he had last thought of his parents.

Minato brought his palm up and tried to do what his father did all those years ago and failed spectacularly.

Dozens of attempts later Minato had finally succeeded in making a lesser version of the initial white glow but even that shattered causing Minato to growl in annoyance.

{What are you trying to accomplish Minato?} Asked Kurama as he reappeared above the hill looking at the blond with curious eyes.

Minato looked at his tormentor.

"I am trying to do something that my father did when I was a kid but I don't really know what he did" Confessed the blond still in his goofy attire.

{Hmm...Describe it for me maybe I can help} offered Kurama.

Minato looked at the giant head for a few minutes and then described what his father did and what effects it had.

{Hm...Sounds like the prototype for Ninshu. Looks like you guys are not beyond hope after all} Said the amused Biju.

"What's Ninshu?" Asked Minato.

{Ninshu, Putting to in simple terms is a chakra technique that lets one read or resonate with all beings that carry chakra letting the casters and the victims understand and sympathize with each other at a level deeper level, for example...}

Minato blinked suddenly feeling like he was a giant with the power to destroy the world, He also felt the need to watch over Humans and their actions, he felt saddened and angry when they started to fight using chakra ignoring the teachings and the sacrifice made by the one he held closest to his heart and then it was over, He was a man facing the strongest of the Biju in an outfit he would rather die than wear.

{In border terms...} continue Kurama ignoring Minato's confusion.

{...Everything that is done using chakra can be classified as Ninshu from Simple body reinforcement to Fuinjutsu, tho the last one is debatable considering....}.Continued Kurama as he mumbled the last part to himself.

"Can you teach it to me?"

{I won't teach what you already know Minato} grumbled Kurama.

"What do you mean?" Asked a confused soul.

{You can already perform Ninshu. It is quite literally in your blood} said Kurama staring at him with a different light in his eyes.

"What do you...oh, oh! holy shit!" said as he came to a realization.

Kurama just stared at him.

"It's my Kekkegenkai!" yelled Minato.

{Yes and one strongly inherited by your spawn}.

Minato thought for a while.

"Can you help me learn how to use Ninshu?"

{Sure, but not for free}

"What do you want?" asked a frustrated Minato.

{Teach me the seal that lets you teleport}

"You mean the 'flying thunder god' seal?"

{I am not calling it that but yes}.

"No!"

{Fine and good luck staying sane} Said Kurama as he disappeared again.

Minato glared at the place where the head was. He knew Kurama was still there watching.

Minato sat down and tried the trick again and failed.

Tried again and failed.

Tried again and failed.

Tried again and failed.

Tried again and ....succeded but barely. Minato was happy and then he saw the small foxes look at him from the holes curiously.

Minato tried to match their chakra signature and the fennec fox with the key came to him and exploded in loud but non-lethal explosion covering his face with soot.

Minato clenched his fists in anger and then used up all his chakra to create a MASSIVE Rasengan and slammed it into the ground.

After the dust settled he found himself in a smooth crater about 500 meters wide and just as deep, it also had holes all over the place which soon sprouted little fox heads with anger written clearly on their faces.

Minato gulped and then

*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM*
