"You always make me struggle to understand you," he finally pointed out. "Do you know how anxious I was when I saw you? You were covered with blood and neglected for hours." Staring at her calm face, he shook his head. "Please don't do this to me."

"I survive," Yara stated in a calm voice. "You should stop thinking too much."
