Not Worthy Of My Concern

Lena was looking at the letter in her hand as she struggled to make up her mind.

She didn't know if what was written in the letter was trustworthy. Given the place where she was, it's not strange for her to have her doubts. After all, she already knew how dangerous the Aslirith palace and the empire itself were.

If the letter was really from Karium, why would he want to meet her without any of Tristan's men knowing? Besides, if the Prince wanted to meet her, he can just come to the palace. Why did he insist to meet outside?

She couldn't understand.

Ricon returned to his job of protecting her starting from the morning of that day and he was also the one who brought the letter to her. Even now, the guard was standing just three or four steps away from her.

Maybe Lena made her thoughts quite obvious, Ricon appeared to be concerned. "Is something wrong with the letter, Your Highness?"
