It was easy for him to say those words when he did not know how hard it was to control the Macabre Glacier!

Besides, with Layla's current state wherein she could not rouse her magic energy, it would be impossible for her even to control it, not to mention command it.

Frankly, even when the Macabre Glacier's sentient stopped harassing her after she took full control of Haylee's body, its influence still lingered. Layla knew if she tried to unleash the Macabre Glacier, its sentient would take that chance to take full control over the souls she let it capture.
